Vinh Long is a province situated in the Mekong Delta of Southern Vietnam. It lies between the Hau and Tien Rivers, about 136km from Ho Chi Minh City. Vinh Long is bounded on the north by Tien Giang Province, on the north-west by Dong Thap Province, on the south-east by Tra Vinh Province, on the south by Hau Giang and Soc Trang Province, and on the south-west by Can Tho City.
Characteristics: Vinh Long has been known for being the land of lush green fields, fruitful orchards, floating boats, and crisscrossed waterways. It is endowed with not only captivating beauty, traditional villages, fishing, heritage sites, but also rich, fertile soil with numerous specialty fruits as spikey rambutan, strang-looking mangosteen, Nam Roi grapefruit, fragrant durian, oranges, longan, tangerines, etc.
