Upon your arrival at Noi Bai Airport, our tour guide will be waiting for you there and welcome you with a signboard. It takes approximately 45 minutes by car from the airport to downtown Hanoi then do the hotel check-in.

08.30 AM: Your trip today will be Hanoi City Tour to visit all of the must-see destinations in Hanoi. You will be picked up by your tour guide at your hotel lobby. In the beginning, we will visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday and every afternoon), the Ba Dinh Square, the Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda – a unique architecture and tranquil garden. This is an important historical place and priceless values of Vietnamese people. You will have a chance to see one of the most popular museums in Hanoi such as Vietnam Military History Museum, Fine Arts Museum, Hoa Lo Prison (as known as Hanoi Hilton – nicknamed by U.S pilots during the American war) or the Ethnology Museum to learn about the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.

At 08:00: our tour guide will come to pick you up, then we start 3.5 hours drive from the city center to Halong Bay. There are several local Northern Vietnamese villages and towns along the way. We will have 30 minutes for a short break in the middle of the journey.
Upon your arrival at the harbor, you will check in at the overnight cruise. After a briefing of some general information about the trip, your delightful lunch will be served on the cruise (we will have different options if you are vegetarian or if you have any special requests). While cruising, you will see the stunning scenery with thousands of limestone mountains and islands. After breakfast, your guide will wait for you at the hotel lobby with a bicycle to start the incredible journey to the rural area. We will cycle through the scenic and peaceful countryside, paddy fields on quiet roads. Stop by Ba Le market, rice fields, cemeteries, and schools (A stop can be made upon your request at any time for taking photos) before reaching Van Lang fisherman village and Bay Mau water coconut forest which is around 7 hectares of mangrove forest, canals, and houses covered in water coconut leaf. This beautiful area which used to be a local people and soldiers’ refuge during the Vietnam War nowadays is famous for producing huge amounts of seafood products.
Upon your arrival to the village, you will be warmly greeted by a local man and his family which three generations of the family living together in the same house. Free to walk around the village & make contact with locals, then you will take a trip with a traditional basket boat, rowed by the skillful hands of the locals and learn their traditional fishing techniques within the water coconut forest. You may try to catch some crabs by a traditional rod.
After returning to the local family, you will take a relaxing moment to enjoy a foot massage in medicinal herb water – a traditional therapeutic practice which is the combination of local herbal remedy and Chinese traditional medicine in order to reduce your aches and pains, rheumatism. At 08:00, after breakfast in your hotel, you will be picked up by our tour guide and visit the unique underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during Vietnam War. Being stretched for nearly 250 km, the Cu Chi Tunnels used to be the shelter of the Viet Cong to take control a huge rural area only 30 to 40 km from former Saigon. You will have time to watch a short introductory video showing how the Cu Chi Tunnels were constructed then we will start our exploration of this underground city with storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, living areas, command centers. You will be amazed and have a poignant feeling when you witness how people were able to survive and their spirit in the war.
After finish lunch, we will return to the city centre and continue afternoon by visiting the Reunification Palace, and the War Remnants Museum. We will stop for seeing Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office – the French building in Ho Chi Minh City.

This morning we will take the transfer to the Mekong Delta- Vietnam's largest granary. On the first destination in My Tho, you embark on a boat and go downstream along Dragon Island to see daily activities on the river as catching, raising fish on the farm. Next stop, we will get through the Xep canal to visit the spectacular local industries here. You will have a chance to taste some specialties such as fruits, honey tea and enjoy the special music of western region of southern Vietnam – “ Tai Tu Music”. After that, you will have a chance to travel by horse cart through village paths to reach the small rowing boats on the river.
