You will start your North Vietnam Tour 5 Days taking the flight to Hanoi Capital City.
Upon reaching at Noi Bai Airport, your guide will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Kindly be advised that the check-in time is at 14.00, but the early check-in is upon your request with a surcharge.
After freshening up, you will meet with your guide in your hotel lobby for a cyclo tour around the Old Quarter of Hanoi. The slow drive gives you many chances for observing the local life and taking beautiful photos of the small streets in Hanoi. Day 2 of your North Vietnam Tour 5 Days, you will visit Hanoi City Tour with the popular destinations in Hanoi.
After breakfast, you will start your story of the city tour with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday, every afternoon and from late September until December), the resting place of Ho Chi Minh. You will be amazed by the long queue coming to pay their respects to our greatest leader. From there, you will walk through the beautiful surrounding gardens toward the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda. Leaving the most solemn place in Hanoi, we proceed to explore the first university of Vietnam - the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature. Every year thousands of candidates coming here praying for good luck in the university entrance exam.
After lunch at the local restaurant, we continue to visit one of the famous museums in Hanoi. One of them is the Ethnology Museum (closed on Monday) which can help you to learn more about the outstanding characteristics of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
To conclude the tour today, we will do a walking tour around the Old Quarter - the heart of the capital, with 36 always-busy ancient streets.

After breakfast, we depart from the city center and drive through the lush countryside to Ninh Binh for the full day tour of Tam Coc – Hoa Lu. Upon reaching Tam Coc, you will enjoy the rowing boat trip along the Ngo Dong River for visiting Tam Coc which means 3 caves. You will travel by the local sampan boat going through the limestone tunnel caves . Cruising through 3 famous tunnel caves gives you the opportunity to enjoy the nature and take photograph the unique mountains and rivers in this area.
Disembark the boat and you will have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we continue to explore Hoa Lu - one of the ancient capitals of Vietnam. Thousand years ago that was the place the ancient capital of Vietnam was founded. From Hanoi, our guide and driver will pick you up for the transfer to Halong Bay for an overnight stay in a traditional junk boat. The four-hour journey offers you the numerous photo opportunities as the drive is on the scenic road.
Upon reaching the legendary Halong Bay at noon, you will climb aboard the Halong Bay junk boat, following with a welcome drink and then, a delicious seafood lunch on board whilst the boat leisurely cruises into the mystical bay.
After lunch, you will get off the boat to discover the Amazing Cave - one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. Climb few hundreds of stone steps to the mouth of the cave whilst listening to some fascinating stories relating to the formation of karst caves. Then, you will be back to the boat to set off to Titov Island where you may climb to the top of the mountain to see panoramic views of the stunning sunset over Halong Bay and swim into the emerald water.
Afterwards, return back to the junk boat for the lavish dinner and a good sleep in your cabin.
