South Vietnam Unforgettable Vacation

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City - the Vietnam’s financial hub. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to recover from jet lag or explore the city on your own.

In the morning, begin your tour by heading to China Town and wandering through the fascinating back streets near Cho Lon and Binh Tay. This area is one of the busiest commercial districts of Ho Chi Minh City and its atmospheric streets are home to some of the city’s most interesting sites. Next, absorb the sacred atmosphere of the Thien Hau Temple, a revered structure built in the 19th century and dedicated to Thien Hau, goddess of the seafarers. Stop for lunch by Ben Thanh Market. Then continue on the city tour with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, the former Presidential Palace, the nearby Notre Dame Cathedral and the City Post Office. Conclude the day exploring the City’s French colonial architecture, stopping at the Opera House and the City Hall on Nguyen Hue broad walking promenade in the middle of District 1.

Today you will travel outside of Ho Chi Minh City to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. The Cu Chi Tunnels are an underground labyrinth of passageways, used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War (or “American War” as it’s referred to here) as protection against American air raids. Those inclined are invited to crawl through selections of the tunnels to better understand what life was like for the Vietnamese soldiers during wartime.

Next you will visit the beautiful Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh and partake in the noontime prayer service. This large and colorful compound is home to the hybrid religion founded in the 1920s: Caodaism, which combines elements of Buddhism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Christianity and Islam in order to promote peace. Stop at local restaurant for lunch break then return to Saigon, arriving in the mid-afternoon.

This full-day excursion begins with a two-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho. The first stop is to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda in Tien Giang Province. The pagoda is an ancient Southern gem with the combination of Asian and European architecture including Renaissance period and Romanesque. Next, continue a drive to My Tho City to take a boat trip on Mekong River. View the fishing port, the traditional houses and boat building workshops and islands including Dragon, Phoenix, Unicorn and Tortoise. During this day tour, you will have opportunity to taste tropical fruits that grown in the delta and honey tea at bee-keeping farm. Ride a motorbike or bicycle around some villages to meet local people to get a deeper understanding about their daily life in the watery area.

Lunch will be served in the orchard garden then visit a local coconut candy manufacturer before transferring to the board wharf. Drive another two hours back to Ho Chi Minh City & spend rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast at the hotel, your driver will meet you at the lobby and transfer you to Phan Thiet. Drive 200km on very good roads linking Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet, which boasts one of Vietnam’s biggest productions of fish sauce. The scenic road passes Phan Thiet Town before arriving at Mui Ne. The endless white sand beaches, the charming fishing villages, the desert-like dunes and numerous types of rare flora and fauna make Mui Ne an ideal place for anyone seeking an enjoyable escape.

After checking into hotel, you have free time to relax on beach.

You will have a free day in Mui Ne. You can relax at resort, visit around or join a tour.

Suggestion: Visit white sand dunes area. Those active may want to practice their sand sliding skills. Next, you will visit the lotus lake, located in the heart of the dunes. Later on visit the red sand dunes area where slopes are less steep than the white sand dunes and offer great photo opportunities of the red sand contrasting the ocean. Finally, pay a visit to the local fishing village and observe the daily lives of local fishermen.

Today is free to do as little or as much as you like. Relax in your hotel or explore Mui Ne yourselves.

- The Lying Buddha: This is one of the longest "lying" Buddha’s in Asia, measuring 49 meters! It is also known as "the Buddha joining into Nirvana" and was sculptured on Ta Cu Mountain in 1962. A cable car takes you up to the cultural complex of Linh Son Long Doan and Linh Son Truong Pagodas, both of which were built in the late 19th century. There are spectacular views over the salt pans, lakes, rice paddies and Khe Ga beaches, as well as inland views to the mountains of Binh Thuan province. It is situated approximately 40 minutes by car from Mui Ne Town and is well worth the visit and the climb to the top! Visit the Cham Tower on the way back, as well as dragon fruit plantations.

This morning, drive up hills to Da Lat with many spectacular views on the way: Dai Ninh Pass & Spring Pass. You will reach the mountain town of Da Lat, known as the “City of Eternal Spring”, after 3.5 hours. An afternoon of sightseeing takes in the art deco former summer residence of Bao Dai – the last Emperor of Vietnam, the old Da Lat Railway Station, the Central Market and famous XQ embroidery workshop. There will be the chance for a short walk around Xuan Huong Lake to get a feel for this delightful city in the evening.

After breakfast, visit Thien Vien Truc Lam – the largest Zen Monastery of Vietnam. Then take the steps down toward the Tuyen Lam Lake, enjoy sightseeing of the nicest vast lake of Da Lat on boat.

On the way back to the city, visit Lat village, home to a number of distinct ethnic minority groups with varying traditions and beliefs. Here you have the chance to purchase traditional handicrafts and gain a unique insight.

There will be a chance for a short walk around Xuan Huong Lake to get a feel for this delightful city in the evening.

Your guide will meet you at hotel. Begin your journey to Tanung Village. Along the way there is so much to see and learn about countryside living and what is produced in the region: local vegetables & flowers farms, pine trees, coffee plantations, rice wine, cricket farm and especially the local silk produce. This morning you will travel through plantations and forests, see the spectacular Elephant waterfall - one of the biggest falls close to city and the giant Buddha statue in Linh An Pagoda.

Lunch spot will be recommended by your guide as you arrive back in Da Lat City. (Lunch at your own expense)

Afternoon on your return journey you will take the Cable Car down Tuyen Lam Lake and Truc Lam Meditation Pagoda – a famous religious place with the most beautiful garden in the area, then a visit to Crazy House - a unique architecture of Da Lat before arriving back at your hotel for an evening at leisure.

Free time morning in Da Lat. The time check out standard is before 12:00.

2,5 hours before your flight, our driver pick you up at your hotel lobby and transfer to Lien Khuong Airport for onward flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
