Mai Chau Day Tour Excursions

07.30 – 08.00: Guide and bus will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter by the luxury bus for the transfer to Mai Chau.

09.00: You will have a short break at Luong Son – The land between the plain and the mountain. Have time for a cup of coffee in the fresh air area of Hoa Binh Province. 

11.00: Stop at the local market of Muong People – One of the biggest Ethnic groups of Viet People. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Thung Khe Pass – One of the most passes in Vietnam. Take your time to try some special food there ( pay on your own) like grill eggs, boiled or grilled corns and interact with Muong People there to know more about their hard life on the mountain.

12.00: You will arrive at Mai Chau Valleys and have lunch in a local house of Thai People. You will enjoy their cuisines and see that it is different from the Viet Cuisines in Hanoi. You also can interact with the local people to know more about their life, their culture, and the architecture of the house on stilt. 

13.00- 15.30: Get on the bicycle and cycle around the village and the rice paddies to learn more about their daily life, culture and the traditional way of weaving. Stop at a stilt house for a tea break and have free time to walk around the village. You can do shopping there to buy some unique handicrafts from Thai People in Vietnam.

15.30: Get back to your bus and go back to Hanoi.
