We begin your Bai Tu Long Bay 2 day 1 night cruise at your hotel lobby in Hanoi, where the driver will collect you.
From here, we will take a comfortable ride across the Red River Delta, looking out through the window at the idyllic scenes of farm and village life spanning the length of the region.
At Hon Gai Harbour in Halong city, we find your ship awaiting boarding. We duly board it and enjoy a welcome drink while the tour’s itinerary is laid out for us. A fantastic seafood lunch will follow this, but we have many alternatives suitable for many different diets.
Our first stop of the day will be made at Vung Vieng fishing village, a floating community of fishermen and their families living in colourful houses atop wooden rafts. One of the residents will show us around the beautiful village on a sampan boat, or instead, passengers can opt for self-exploration in a kayak.
Returning to your 2-day cruise in Bai Tu Long Bay, we enjoy the magnificent views of the vivid red sunset as happy hour begins at the bar. Take this time to relax on board before dinner is served in the dining room. After dinner is your time to relax, so do so by heading out to the sundeck or retiring to the cabin to read a book in total serenity.
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
The day starts on the sundeck, where our onboard tai chi teacher will be able to give you a beginner’s lesson in the highly beneficial martial art. After this, head downstairs and continue the final day of your 2-day, 1-night Bai Tu Long Bay cruise with a light breakfast on the boat.
We make our last stop at Thien Canh Son Cave, one of the resplendent limestone caverns that are dotted around this remarkable area. We head inside with the guide, learning more about the colourfully illuminated and naturally occurring rock sculptures dotted throughout, before taking in grand vistas of the bay from the viewing platform standing high above.
Return to the ship for the final time and we will be able to check out of our cabins. A splendid early lunch will accompany our return to the harbour, from where we will disembark from the ship and head back to Hanoi on the shuttle bus that will be waiting for us.
Our arrival in Hanoi in the late afternoon marks the end of your Bai Tu Long Bay 2 day 1 night cruise.
It was a pleasure to show you this corner of our country and we hope to see you back here again in the future!
