Our A Glimpse of Southern Vietnam 4 days will start from Ho Chi Minh City.
Upon your arrival at Ho Chi Minh International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your tour guide and driver and be transferred to the city center for hotel check-in.
This afternoon, you will embark on a city tour of HCMC (Saigon) including the War Remnants Museum where a comprehensive collection of the machinery, weapons, photographs, and documentation of the Vietnam War is displayed. Visit History Museum (closed on Mondays) or the Reunification Palace to witness the relics of the city’s tumultuous past. Walk around the city to see the Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), The Continental Hotel, The Opera House and City Hall. Stop by the bustling Ben Thanh Market in the late afternoon to immerse yourself in local life & shop for the various products to bring home.
Go back to our hotel for free time and stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).
Firing range in Cu Chi Tunnels
Activities: Take the Cu Chi Tunnels Half Day Tour to discover the underground network of Cu Chi tunnels and to learn more about the hardship of local people during the war.
After breakfast, we head to the northwest of Ho Chi Minh City for a half day Cu Chi Tunnels Tour. Being stretched for over 155 miles (250 km) from the South Vietnamese capital to the Cambodian border, the Cu Chi Tunnels played an important role in the Vietnam War in that they allowed the Viet Cong to take control a huge rural area only 30 to 40 km from former Saigon. Included storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, constructed living areas, command centers and innumerable of nightmare trap doors, the network was like a secret city to support Viet Cong during the war. A visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels brings you a poignant feeling when you witness a part of the underground life of Viet Cong & the hardships of war. For those who would like to try to fire an AK-47 or an MK16 rifle on a firing range, this will be a good place (Fee is excluded).
After lunch in the local restaurant, we will get back to the city center and reach your hotel at around 03.00 PM.
Free time for yourself in the afternoon and stay overnight in HCM city.

Mekong boat trip
Activities: Explore Ben Tre for the whole day, an authentic area in Mekong Delta to enjoy the cruising experience on the river and taste the regional specialties.
Though new bridges connecting Ben Tre with My Tho and Tra Vinh helped to attract more visitors into the area, Ben Tre still retains authentic, compared to its neighbor, My Tho. The tour to Ben Tre is the great choice for a day away from the hustle & bustle of Ho Chi Minh City. You have the chance to explore orchards, farms, and fisheries & immerse yourself in the tranquil scenery of the water world. Today we will start our Mekong Delta Tour for learning more about the local life in one of the most famous rivers in Asia and the World.
After breakfast, our tour guide & driver will be waiting for you in the lobby of your hotel in Saigon for a drive of around 2 hours to Ben Tre. While there, you will have a chance to stroll along the waterfront & see plenty of coconuts being unloaded from boats for dispatch to the other regions in the country. Then, get on a private boat to experience a couple of hours of cruising on the Mekong River. First, you will visit fish farms to get into the local life and exotic fruit farms to sample some tropical fruits. Cruise along the river to visit various local workplaces, including a brick kiln factory, a coconut processing workshop and a local mat-weaving house. Afterward, you choose either of being on a cart powered by a motorbike (namely Xe Lôi) or biking to travel through some quiet authentic villages. You will enjoy your delicious lunch at a local restaurant or on board. The excursion will end at around 4:00 pm where the vehicle will await you for your transfer back to Saigon.
