When you arrive in Noi Bai Airport, our driver will pick you up for the transfer to the hotel in the center of Hanoi for check-in (the time for check-in is 14.00, but the early check-in is up to request with a surcharge).
Take your time to relax after the long flight. After that, our tour guide will pick you for a cyclo tour around the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Hanoi City Tour will be the second day of your 16 day itinerary in Vietnam. After having breakfast in the hotel, we will head to Ho Chi Minh Complex. We start the tour by visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum at which the corpse of Uncle Ho was preserved. Also, we will visit the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh House on Stilt to see the simple life of president Ho Chi Minh in the past. Continue our city tour today by paying a visit to One Pillar Pagoda - a unique architecture and tranquil garden in Hanoi. After that, we will move to the Temple of Literature - the first University of Vietnam, and also the symbol of Vietnamese education.
We will have special lunch in KOTO (means Know One, Teach One) restaurant - the training school restaurant for the disadvantaged children. KOTO is one of the best restaurants in Hanoi that you should try.

Activities: Arrive at Lao Cai station. Do an easy trekking to Lao Chai and Tavan Village. And experience the life in the homestay with local people.
We will arrive at Lao Cai station in the early morning. Our driver and tour guide will pick you up for the transfer from the station to Sapa. After having breakfast, you can take your time to relax or see the local life in this mountainous town.
Then, let's try to do the easy trekking to Lao Chai, Tavan Village. It will take about 2 to 3 hours to get there. On the way, we will visit Muong Hoa Valley where you can enjoy the whole beautiful view of Sapa from its top. Green paddy terrace blending with cool wind will make you feel relaxed on the way of trekking.
Keep on moving to Lao Chai and Ta Van Villages (home of Giay ethnic people). You will have one more chance to discover the daily life of the varying minorities in Vietnam. You will also be surprised at how the rattan bridge and the ancient stone field were created.

Upon your arrival in Lao Chai and Tavan Villages, we will check-in at a local house. You walk around to learn more about the life of Hmong and Giay people. Sapa trekking with local children
Activities: Continue your trekking to Giang Ta Chai and Supan Villages to have interesting experiences with local people and explore the less touched areas.
Giang Ta Chai is our destination for trekking tour today. Being one of the most attractive destinations in Sapa but Giang Ta Chai Village is less touched by tourists as it is more difficult to access.
Have breakfast to get energy for the last day of trekking. It will take about 3 hours to get Giang Ta Chai Village of Red Dao minority. On the way, we will pass through bamboo forest belonging to Hoang Lien National Park. You can take a series of nice photos of the amazing surrounding landscapes. Then we will stop at a waterfall for a break and enjoy lunch at such nice place.
After that, we will we will head to Su Pan Village - a small village located by the road. From here, we will back to Sapa by car to do check-in the hotel.

Stunning Sapa
Activities: Visit the Heaven Gate, Silver Waterfall. Discover Fansipan peak and take the night train to Hanoi.
Our guide and driver will pick you up for a leisure trip up the hill. You will have the spectacular scenery of the Fansipan Mount. Just a kilometer out of the town, you may see rose flower farms and rubber trees covered a large area.
On the way, we will stop at the Silver Waterfall and you will know why the waterfall has the romantic name "Silver Waterfall"). Continue the trip to Heaven Gate for some kilometers further, we will find spectacular natural paintings with the dense forest of the highest mountain pass in Vietnam with the height of 2047m above sea level. You can walk around for half an hour to see the beautiful scenery of both two side of Hoang Lien Son mountain range. You will have a chance to see the difference of the weather in the two sides: It can be foggy and cloudy on Sapa side while another side it is sunny.
After that, we will leave the Heaven Gate for the way back downhill 7 km. Stop to visit some lush farms in O Quy Ho where you can see many different kinds of vegetables, flowers, fruit trees and even medicinal plants grown for years.
Come back to Sapa. After having lunch in the town, we will check-out the hotel and have a free afternoon in Sapa. You can walk around to discover the local life here or take your time to visit Fansipan or Dragon Jaw Mountain.
In the late afternoon, we will transfer to Lao Cai station for the night train to Hanoi.

Activities: Getting ready to discover your beautiful time in one of the 7 World Wonders - Ha Long Bay.
About 05.30 am: You will arrive in Hanoi, take a walk to the hotel (closed to the train station) for the check-in, have a short sleep and breakfast in the hotel before our guide and driver come to pick you up.
Halong Bay is the top listed destinations in Vietnam and it is a must for all the traveler and that will be the most highlighted place in your 16 day itinerary in Vietnam.
At 8.00am: After having breakfast at the hotel, we will take about 3.5 hours to drive to Halong Bay - the UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the way, you will have an opportunity to see some rural areas of Vietnam as going through the Red River Delta. You can take some photos of Vietnamese farmers tilling the large green fields.
Halong Bay - a World Natural Heritage recognized by UNESCO and also a Wonder of Nature - will be a worth-visiting destination for you.
When you get to Halong Bay's jetty (around noon), get on the 2 days 1 night cruise then have welcome lunch on board.
After that, we will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the bay and join some onboard activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just relax on the board. Towards the end of the day, we will set anchor among karst formations for staying overnight.

Kayaking on the quiet and warm water of Halong Bay will lead you to some of the sites and caves inaccessible by the larger boats. You will feel something like discovering new lands.

At 8.00am, our guide will pick you up with bicycles. We will travel around to enjoy the scenic and peaceful countryside of Vietnam, which is far away from the noise of the city. Passing through the town, we will cycle among rice fields on the tranquil roads and stop at Ba Le Market, rice fields, cemeteries and schools before ending at Van Lang fisherman Village and Bay Mau water coconut forest which is famous for the diversity of seafood with 7 hectares of mangrove forest, canals, and houses covered in water coconut leaf.
When you arrive at the Village, a local man and his family will be happy to welcome you to a green tea. After that, you can walk around to explore more about this Village. Here you will have a chance to row a boat and learn how to fish in the water coconut forest with the locals' help.
Turning back to the host’s house, you will be relaxed when enjoying a traditional therapeutic foot bath with medicinal herbs. Then you will help the host prepare and have lunch together. There are some special dishes that you may have never tasted before such as Tam Huu spring rolls, Banh Xeo (local pancakes), grilled fish in banana leaf, and many other Vietnamese delicacies. Activities: Visiting Cu Chi Tunnels and then exploring some historical destinations in Ho Chi Minh City: Reunification Palace, the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office.
At 8.00am we will start to move to the amazing tunnels network of Cu Chi after having breakfast in the hotel. Cu Chi Tunnels is a 250km-in-length man-made maze with many of bamboo traps with the aim of a place for military practices and hiding from the pursuing of the enemy in the past. The tunnels were also used as communication routes, storage facilities, hospitals and living quarters for Vietnamese fighters in the war. It will be an interesting experience to discover the hard life conditions of those whose were used to live there.
Have lunch on the way back to the center of the city.
