4 Days From Hanoi to Halong Bay

Your 4 day itinerary in Vietnam starts with your arrival in Hanoi Airport.

Come along to Hanoi, our insider‘s guide will pick you up for the transfer from Noibai Airport to downtown of the city (estimated time is around 1 hour). For the start of your tour, your guide will take you to visit the most popular places in Hanoi including Hoan Kiem Lake (as known as Lake of the Returned Sword), and Ngoc Son Temple (Temple of the Jade Mountain, built on the Jade Islet). Leading from the shore to islet is The Huc Bridge (or The Red Bridge)- the place that locals believe is the first place to welcome sunlight of the day. In addition, you will also be impressed by the meaning of Thap But (Pen Tower) and Dai Nghien (Ink Stand) which are the symbols for Vietnamese’s desire for incredible knowledge. From time to time, Vietnam has had to protect its people, and take the mighty sky as a big book which has so far and high that nobody could steal.

By the end of the day, you will have a chance to enjoy the Water Puppet Show- a unique Vietnam traditional arts and enjoy the delightful welcome dinner. After that, you will go back to your hotel and have a first night’s sleep in Hanoi.

The Day 2 of 4 days from  Hanoi to Halong Bay you will visit Hoa Lu - Tam Coc.

Get ready to start the second day for the Hoa Lu Tam Coc tour from. It takes about 02 hours from city center to Tam Coc. Recognized as a special national heritage, many tourists visit Tam Coc to experience the charming and splendid of natural scenery by relaxing in a tiny boat. Enjoying Tam Coc Tour, you will spend about 1.5 hours for enjoying the boat trip on Ngo Dong River and Tam Coc caves. Furthermore, you may explore a glorious landscape of Bich Dong Pagoda built on a limestone hill with the beautiful atmospheric place will be your best remarkable impression. Bich Dong pagoda is a very attractive destination for a lot of clients from a long time ago and one of Vietnam's King named Bich Dong Pagoda as the most second beautiful cave in Vietnam.

After lunch then we will take a short drive to Hoa Lu – the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10 and 11 centuries with the first two Imperial Dynasties: The Dinh and The Le. This is the place where people worship the two great kings of Vietnam: Dinh Tien Hoang- Emperor and founder of the first capital of Vietnam and Le Dai Hanh who has a great merit in protecting, preserving and defeating other enemies. Visiting Dinh Temple, you will have the chance to see all the unique architecture in wood carvings of the Vietnamese folk artists in the 17th century with a variety of precious and rare artifacts preserved here. Most tourists come to Hoa Lu because of its cultural and historical attractions

We will then return back to Hanoi and you will have free time in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi. 

End of Day 2 of your 4 Day Package From Hanoi to Halong Bay.

Today will be the highlight tour day of your 4 day itinerary in Vietnam.

Be well-prepared at the hotel lobby at 08:00 am and start the 3.5-hour scenic drive for the day trip from Hanoi to Halong Bay. Along the way, you will pass through various Northern Vietnamese villages and towns; visiting the outstanding landscape of the Red River Delta countryside and have a short break in the middle of the trip.

Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Harbor, you will board the Incredible Asia Journeys day cruise to see the stunning scenery with thousands of Limestone Mountains while we serve you a delightful traditional Vietnamese lunch. (Please advise us if you are vegetarian or if you have any special requests, we will offer different options for you). Spending about 04 hours in Halong Bay, our tour guide will show you the spotlight of Halong. The cruise will pass Con Cho Da Rock (Dog stone rock), the Lu Huong (Burning Incense islet) then you may enjoy kayaking around the floating village to learn more about local life of fishing men on the bay. Otherwise, you could choose the sampan boats which are rowed by locals to feel refreshed and relaxed after our busy day of exploring. Afterwards, we will get off the boat to explore Thien Cung cave (Heaven cave) to see the most interesting stories about amazing shapes of the stalactites and stalagmites related to the Halong Bay legend of King Dragon.

You will learn more about the history of the cave ( how it formed and some legends about the Thien Cung cave).After that, we start cruising back to the pier at around 16:45 and get ready to return to Hanoi around 20.00 to 20.30. After the Halong Bay full day you will enjoy your last night in Hanoi own your own after a day well spent.

Last day is your free day without our tour guide. You may wander around Hanoi for shopping souvenirs, handicrafts or lacquerware in the Old Quarter with all the local shops nearby within a safe, easy walking distance. Depending on your flight schedule, our driver will come to pick you up for the transfer to Noi Bai Airport accordingly. It’s time to say goodbye! The 4 day itinerary in Vietnam ends!
