Itinerary

Mai Chau Valley

Morning

7:00 AM: Our driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter then depart to Mai Chau.

10:30 AM: You will have a stop at Thung Khe Pass for a scenic view of Mai Chau Valley. Here, you can explore local stands and try "Com Lam" (sticky rice cooked in bamboo).

11:30 AM: Arrive in Mai Chau, check-in, and have lunch in a traditional stilt house. Rest by the pool or take a walk through the village alleys.

Afternoon

1:30 PM: Your afternoon tour starts with cycling around Mai Chau Valley, visiting local fields, villages to discover more about the unique cultural activities of the White Thai ethnic group, and brocade production facilities.

4:00 PM: Then return to the homestay for free time to relax or walk around.

7:00 PM: Have dinner and enjoy the peaceful time at the homestay.

Morning

06:00 – 07:00: Have breakfast at hotel and check-out.

07:00 – 08:00: Our bus will pick you up and take a scenic ride to Pu Luong Nature Reserve.

08:00 – 12:00: You will get on the van to reach the starting point of the trek. On Thursday or Sunday, you will have a chance to visit Pho Doan market. Then start to trek through dirt paths, passing hamlets and jungle until you reach Hieu village with great views. Head down to the waterfall, pass local houses, and enjoy free time (swimming or water hiking, depending on the season).

12:00: Enjoy a Garden-to-Table lunch at a local Thai ethnic minority house.

Afternoon

After lunch, you have free time to relax at the waterfall or explore the village before we back to the homestay.

15:00: Return to the Retreat for some rest or to enjoy the infinity pool.

19:00: Dinner at the Eco-Restaurant then free time to relax.

Morning

07:30 – 08:30: Breakfast at the Eco-Restaurant with an overview of the valley.

08:30: Begin your trek to Kho Muong Village and the Bat Cave, passing traditional Thai stilt houses and scenic rice terraces. As you reach the hilltop, the village comes into view, highlighting its unique charm. After walking around the village, if the weather permits, you will walk to the entrance to the cave.

11:30: Return to Pu Luong Eco Garden, shower, check out, and enjoy lunch at the restaurant. Relax or take a dip in the infinity pool before departure.

Afternoon

15:00 – 19:00: Hop on the bus for the ride back to Hanoi Old Quarter, you will be dropped off at the Hanoi Opera House. Tour ends.
