Halong Bay Day Trip

We have great time with Incredible Asia Journeys for our 2 weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia. All the guides and drivers were very helpful and friendly. We visit Hanoi, Sapa, Halong Bay, Ninh Binh, Hoi An, Mekong Delta, Ho Chi Minh and Siem Reap. The weather was so good in Oct. Tony Jaa was our tour operator and i must say he is the best tour agency for your trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. He was very informative and flexible. He created the best itinerary for us for Vietnam and Cambodia in the limited time . His English was very easy to understand also. We have a wonderful experience at Halong bay. We get pickup at 0900hrs from hotel lobby. Our tour guide Mr Mike was kind, talkative ,funny, nice,very sporting guy and knowledge about Hanoi is also good. Journey to Halong bay (which one of the 7 nature wonder in the world) take about 3.5 hour and arrive at our cruise port around 1230hrs. Serve with seafood dinner and after that enjoy the view, got chance to experience bamboo boat and also dong thien cung (cave with light ) such as beautiful cave and we impress with the nature architecture! Overall what u pay is more than what you will experience. Strongly suggest to choose incredible tour guide as your tour operator. It's worth! This Halong Bay 1 day tour will be the memorable experience ever.

Our tour guide Manh was fantastic in everything that he did on this tour! Him and the staff were all brilliant and they made the trip for me and my family. We had 3 kids with us but they were amazed by the scenery and really loved the kayaking. They were also a big fan of Manh, who is clearly great with kids. All of us loved the food and me and my mother were especially impressed by Manh’s knowledge of the cave. We came away with a bigger appreciation of Vietnam and the beauty that this country has.

I have no suggested improvements for this tour at all! Everything was amazing from the moment they picked me and my girlfriend up from our hotel in the Old Quarter. Everything is on a bit of a tight schedule, but that is pretty unavoidable given how far Halong Bay is from Hanoi. We still had time for lots of fun activities as well as a very relaxing cruise, which was much smoother than I was anticipating. Our tour guide Hoang was so a great guy and really went out of his way to make sure that everyone was having fun. The perfect example of this is lunch, where we were served some food that my girlfriend is not the greatest fan of. We mentioned this to Hoang and he came out of the kitchen a few minutes later with a different dish that my girlfriend loved. Excellent service – thank you Mr. Hoang, the chef, and the whole company!

I came to Vietnam to visit my friend who lives out there, but she was working one day so I decided to take this daytrip to Halong Bay myself. The whole thing was a joy to be a part of and there wasn’t a single part that I didn’t like! Even the bus ride there was interesting and had some nice beauty outside the window! The staff were all very nice, especially the tour guide Jimmy, who had incredible English skills and an expert’s knowledge of the bay. He was very sweet and kind and you could tell that everyone really loved his company. Me being vegetarian was not a problem at all – the chef made sure I was well fed, and I was! Solo travellers will love this trip because of the social atmosphere on board the boat – I made lots of new friends and met some people from countries I knew basically nothing about, which was another great learning experience for me! Excellent work by everyone involved, especially Jimmy – keep it up!
