Lan Ha Bay Day Cruise

07.15 – 07.30  - Pick up

Our driver will pick you up in the early morning in a sleek limousine van and take you the 115 kilometers to the harbor in Hai Phong.

09.45 – Welcome aboard

Your Lan Ha Bay Day Cruise starts once we have boarded our cruise ship, received a quick introduction from the captain and have departed into Lan Ha Bay. Beginning with a cruise through an ancient river, we will pass hundreds of vertical limestone karsts that are symbolic of Halong and Lan Ha bays. We continue past lush forests and shaded beaches on our way to the beautiful Kiem Lam Archipelago.

11.30 – Lunch

You’re never far from the action in our air-conditioned dining room with its expanded windows. We will serve delicious Vietnamese fusion food here for lunch.

13.00 – Hidden lagoons and dramatic caves

Once we reach the Kiem Lam Archipelago, we will drop anchor and give a brief demonstration on how you should use your kayak, after which the maze formed by tree-topped mountains is yours to explore as you wish. Alternatively, there is the option of getting on a bamboo boat rowed by a village local. The caves laden with stalagmites are interesting places to explore, as are the hidden lagoons containing exotic sea creatures and colorful coral reefs.

15.00 – Swimming around the fishing villages

Take a quick break before having a relaxing swim around traditional floating houses and fishing villages; areas that have remained unchanged for years.

15.30 – Masterchef cooking demonstration with mini party 

Soak up the knowledge as our chef shows you how to make a Vietnamese classic; spring rolls. Celebrate the end of a busy day with spring rolls, rice wine, cake, biscuits, tea and seasonal fruits.

17.30 – Head back to Hanoi

Wave goodbye to the crew as you board the limousine van to head back to Hanoi where we will drop you off at your hotel around 7:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Thanks for choosing the Lan Ha Bay Day Cruise with us, we hope you enjoyed it and we look forward to seeing you again!
