Our Best Vietnam 6 Day Tour starts from Hanoi. 

On arrival in Hanoi, you will collect your luggage and clear the Visa process, go through the exit where our local guide will be waiting outside with your name board, ready to greet you and transfer you to your hotel (approximately 1 hour). Normal check-in time is at 14.00 and an early check-in is subject to availability, You will be given time to relax or you may like to walk around Hoan Kiem Lake (The Lake of the Returned Sword) to enjoy the local atmosphere.

In the afternoon, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and we walk to the nearby Water Puppet Theatre. You will be impressed by the unique Vietnam traditional art dating from the 11th century. After the show, we will enjoy a delightful welcome dinner in one of the local restaurants. We then escort you back to your hotel for the night. 

Day 2 of your Vietnam 6 Day Tour will be Hanoi City Tour for visiting the most popular destinations in Hanoi. 

After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you in your hotel lobby at 08:30. We will spend a full day discovering all of the must-see destinations in Hanoi. First we will visit one of the most popular destinations – the Ho Chi Minh Complex. This consists of Ho Chi Minh ‘s Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, Uncle Ho’s House on stilts, the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the historical One Pillar Pagoda (Chua Mot Cot).  Your guide will then take you to one of the three most popular museums in the city – the Vietnam Military History Museum, the Fine Arts Museum, the Hoa Lo Prison, or the Ethnology Museum.

We will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and continue our tour in the afternoon. Our first stop is the Temple of Literature - Hanoi‘s symbol of wisdom, talent and study.  

Every year, a lot of students coming here to pray for good luck in their entrance exam to university. Known as the first University of Vietnam, this is the place to worship the Confucian philosophers and celebrate the high-ranking scholars of Vietnam. We then head back to the Old Quarter where you may like to spend more time discovering the heart of city. Wandering around the hidden alleys and finding the best local food and Vietnamese coffee in the narrow streets or on the sidewalks will be a rewarding experience for you. Dinner is at your own expense.

Today you will take a day tour from Hanoi to visit Hoa Lu Tam Coc.

After breakfast in your hotel, we will transfer to Ninh Binh for about 02 hours. Tam Coc means “ three caves“ and many tourists visit Tam Coc because of its special and flawless natural scenery. Starting the tour by sampan boat rowed by the locals to go along Ngo Dong Rivers leading to the Tam Coc grottoes. You’ll enjoy an outstanding range of green hills with rice fields at the base. It will change by the season before the harvest season, it may have green color then turn yellow when the harvest comes.  We will have our lunch at the local restaurant after we get back from the harbor.

In the early afternoon, we will head to Hoa Lu- the ancient capital of Vietnam between the 10 and 11 centuries founded and protected by The Dinh and The Le Dynasties. You will have an opportunity to learn more about the unique architecture in wood carvings of Vietnamese in the 17th century as well as the valuable and historical relics while visiting The Dinh and The Le Temple.

Go back to Hanoi City center, after showering and resting in the hotel, our guide will pick you up for the street food in Hanoi. Take a seat on a low-slung plastic stool, you will get to enjoy a front-row seat in the Old Quarter – one of the unique experience in Hanoi. There is a huge selection of street foods that the city offers: from Pho (Noodle soup) – an internationally recognized Vietnamese dish to Bun Cha (Barbecued pork with vermicelli and Vietnamese veggies and several other options waiting for you. 

Halong Bay overnight cruise will be the most highlighted in your Best Vietnam Tour 6 Days. You will start the Halong Bay 1 night today for enjoying the best experience in Halong Bay. 

Have breakfast in your hotel. Your tour guide and driver will pick you up at 08:00 then start our journey through 3.5 hours (estimated at 165 km one-way drive ). Stop for a break on the halfway On the way, you will have a chance to see and take photos of several rural areas from the beautiful rice-paddy fields scenery of Red River Delta countryside to the peace of Northern Vietnamese villages. By the middle way, we will have a short break for about 30 minutes. 

Upon your arrival at the harbor, you will board the boat and commence your overnight cruise. After a briefing and some general information about the trip, a delicious lunch will be served (there will be several options if you are vegetarian or if you have any special requests). Lunch will be served as you cruise amongst some of the thousands of stunning limestone mountains and islands. After lunch, you can relax in your cabin or on deck before joining the interesting onboard activities. These are subject to each boat’s itinerary and include kayaking, sampan boat rowing, swimming or a cooking demonstration by the cruise chef. Enjoy a small glass of Vietnamese rice-wine (nicknamed happy water). The evening will commence with a tasty dinner. You are then free to relax, join others in squid fishing, or watch a movie about amazing Halong Bay. Stay overnight on the cruise. 

One unique experience that you could have if you are staying overnight on the cruise, you will have an opportunity to do Tai-chi in the early morning. People believe that it will bring you long lasting life and health, and positivity if you practice Tai-Chi every day. After starting your day with morning exercise, you will enjoy a tasty breakfast to fill you with energy for kayaking to Hang Luon (Luon cave)- a majestic cave which is inaccessible by the larger boats. It will be a remarkable experience to have in Halong Bay cruise tour. Lunch will be provided before disembarking from the cruise to Tuan Chau harbor. Our guide and driver will be waiting there for the transfer to Hanoi for Overnight.
