Throughout the Sapa 3-Day Cycling and Trekking Tour, we see Sapa’s most impressive and evocative sites. This is a land where mountains soar dramatically into the sky, casting shade over the thousands of rice paddies, ploughed diligently by farmers and water buffalo, as they overlook the trickling streams and cascading waterfalls in the valley below. You will also meet members of the various hill tribes that live in Sapa and learn about the unique customs that separate them from the Vietnamese and each other.

Activities: Taking the night train from Hanoi to Lao Cai.
20.30 PM: Await at your hotel for our driver to collect you and take you to Hanoi’s central train station, where you will board the night train to Lao Cai.
Activities: Arriving in Sapa and cycling through gorgeous scenery, breaking for lunch in Ta Phin before heading back to Sapa town for free time.
You will arrive at Lao Cai train station at about 06:00. Look out for our guide holding your name on a sign and take the uphill bus ride to Sapa, soaking in the beautiful panoramas it affords on the way.
We take a leisurely breakfast before donning our cycling gear and jumping onto our bicycles. The ride will be mostly downhill and will pass through Sapa town and along 3km of smooth roads flanked by the verdant green of Sapa’s tree-topped mountains and tiered rice paddies. We divert to Ma Tra village and take a brief stop to absorb the wonders of the surrounding nature – the mountains, the pine trees and the golden fields of rice and corn.
We continue the short distance to Ta Phin, where we can meet members of the Red Dao and Black H’mong ethnic minorities, learning of their various customs on a walk around the village.
We will have lunch with one of the local minority hosts here and climb back onto our bikes. We traverse the undulating forest paths to a small hill where will meet the car. We take the transfer back to Sapa to enjoy the various attractions of the town or just relax at the hotel or in a café.

Activities: Trekking through wonderful scenery and quaint villages before being driven back to Sapa and taking the bus back to Hanoi.
After breakfast at the hotel, we trek 6km southeast of Sapa town to Y Linh Ho alongside the rice paddies and farmland clinging to the walls of the Muong Hoa Valley.
2 km further along, we reach Lao Chai, a commune of the Black H‘mong. We will have lunch with a local family of Black H’mong, learning of their unique culture and stunning costumes as we do so.
Following the quaint path past forests and the soaring mountains behind them, we reach the village of Ta Van. We will take a brief stop in this community of the Giay hill tribe to admire the beauty of their architecture and to learn about their unique and antique customs. A short hike will take us to the pick-up point, where a car will return us to Sapa town.
Relax in your hotel until 15:00, when the luxury bus will collect you and take you the 5.5 hours back to Hanoi, where it will drop you off at your hotel.
