Me and my family went for the 2 day 1 night itinerary with Grey Line Cruise and none of us can be happier with how it went! The length of the drive is a bit long but obviously that is no one’s fault – Grey Line Cruise made it much more tolerable with very comfy seats and plenty of space for everyone. The boat itself looks a little bit ‘experienced’ but I cannot fault the crew, food or room. The room was beautiful, with lots of natural light and a great chance to watch the bay from the balcony The food was excellent and they served a lot of seafood, which is a big plus with me! The 40-minute sampan ride was excellent and we enjoyed the visit to Titop Island, where we could walk to the top of the mountain and receive the most stunning views of Halong bay from way up there. The cooking class was a little bit rushed before dinner on the first day, that could have been planned a little better, but that was a very small thing anyway. The staff were excellent the whole way through, in particular Binh, who gave us a lot of help and friendly smiles throughout the cruise. He knows a LOT about Halong Bay and was explaining it in a clear away while we were there. He was the one who was running the cooking class, which made everything much more fun.I have very few gripes on this cruise and I would be happy to recommend it to anyone! Excellent work from Binh and the rest of the Gray Line Cruise team!

NewZealandWe couldn’t have hoped for a better trip than the one we did to Halong Bay with the Grey Line cruise. From the beginning pick up to the ending drop-off, we had nothing to complain about and enjoyed so many great little touches that really bring out the best of Halong Bay and its amazing atmosphere. We thought the bought was very nice with some great modern amenities (strong and working air con in 38 degree heat was very well appreciated!). We were served some incredible food from the moment we sat down for the first lunch, which continued of the course of the 3 days and didn’t leave us wanting at any point. There was an open deck on the top with plenty of loungers around and a chance to see the sunrise and sunset each day. There was just 22 passengers on the ship so there was lots of space for all of us but we still got to know each other fairly well over the course of the cruise. Very social with a great crew as well. Just a really fun trip. Really highly recommend the Gray Line cruise!

United KingdomI only wish we had booked the longer cruise as opposed to the 2 day 1 night itinerary that we opted for in the end. We took the public transport option and that was a smooth ride since the pick up from our hotel. Once we arrived, the Gray Line Cruise blew our expectations away. We took a balcony room and really enjoyed the views from there, perfect for couples like us. There was a lot of stylish and tasteful décor in the room and bathroom, both of which were spacious and had every amenity working perfectly. The food here is really top notch, better than anything else I’ve had in the country. The cruise makes sure you really get the best out of Halong Bay by providing you with many activities and a wonderful crew who were always smiling and looking to help in any way they could. I know there are many boats to choose from but I’m so happy with the Grey Line Cruise, it’s perfect for those middle-budget travellers.

MalaysiaWe didn’t have a single regret in choosing the Gray Line Cruise to be our vessel through Halong Bay. We did the 2 day and 1 night itinerary and were so impressed the whole time. For the price of the cruise, we felt that the boat itself, along with the staff, food, cabin and activities were fantastic value for money and worth much more than what we paid. The room that we had booked came with a balcony with table and chairs. We were so happy with it and spent many hours stargazing and relaxing completely. Any couple looking to spend a romantic time together should book one of these cabins. We travelled with Gray Line Cruise for our wedding anniversary and were pleasantly surprised to have a personally decorated room and a cake presented to us at dinner. We shared the celebrations with our fellow passengers, who were so lovely and really helped to make the cruise more special. Visiting the island and climbing to the top was a bit of hard work in all that heat, but it was so worth it to get that picture-perfect image of Halong Bay. That is another memory I won’t be forgetting any time soon!Phenomenal time in Halong Bay overall. I would recommend the Gray Line Cruise to anyone.

ChinaThe perfect trip through the most perfect scenery! I couldn’t have hoped to go with a better company than the Gray Line Cruise and this 5 star review is a little thank you for the services that they provided us with! The 3.5 hour journey was a comfortable one because of the high quality of the bus taking us to Halong Bay. We stopped once for a bit of food and drink before carrying on.The activities that we did were all very fun and well-planned. The kayaking was our absolute favourite as we got to feel the peace of the bay properly. There weren’t many people around us, or on the Gray Line Cruise in general, so we really felt totally tranquil while rowing around the bayThe food was fantastic and we were provided with more food than we could ever hope to eat. We had a great room with an incredibly comfy bed and a cute en suite bathroom with all the toiletries provided. We loved our guide, Sunny. She was a lovely girl who was very friendly and funny. Her English was incredible and our little boy gave her a hug as we left the boat, which doesn’t happen a lot! This was a really excellent trip and I wouldn’t hesitate to book the exact same thing again with the Gray Line Cruise!
