Activities: Arrive at Hanoi, welcome you to Hanoi! Take your free time for leisure, and walk around Hanoi Old Quarter before having welcome dinner in a local restaurant.
Sapa to Halong Bay Tourstarts from Hanoi Airport with your flight to Hanoi.
On your arrival at Hanoi Airport, you will be picked up by local guide and driver from Incredible Asia Journeys for the transfer to the center of lovely Hanoi. Check-in the hotel and take your time to relax after a long flight. (Early check-in depends on the hotel’s availability. If you want to ensure to have the room as you arrive, you may be paid for it).
Around 4.00pm, our guide will pick you up for walking around Restored Sword Lake to enjoy the fresh air here and visiting the Old Quarter of Hanoi with 36 ancient and busy streets.

In the morning, you will have breakfast in the hotel before starting our journey today. We will spend a whole day discovering Hanoi - the lovely capital of Vietnam. First, we will head to Ho Chi Minh Complex which includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday and Friday), Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilts and One Pillar Pagoda. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is the place the corpse of Uncle Ho was preserved. Visiting Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilts, you can have a chance to see the simple life of president Ho Chi Minh in the past.
Continuing our visit, we will move to the Temple of Literature - the first University of Vietnam, and also the symbol of Vietnamese education. Every year thousands of candidates coming here praying for good luck in the university entrance exam. Have lunch in a local restaurant and take a rest.
In the afternoon, we will pay a visit to one of the most famous museums in Hanoi such as Hoa Lo Prison Museum (also known as "Hanoi Hilton"), or the Ethnology Museum with the outstanding characteristics of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
After that, we will have one more chance to wander around the Hanoi Old Quarter with 36 busy streets. You can also get some of the traditional art products as souvenirs.

In the early morning, we will arrive at Lao Cai Station. You will be picked up by our guide and driver to move to Sapa. Having breakfast and taking a rest in Sapa before we do the easy trekking to Lao Chai, Tavan Village. It may take about 2 to 3 hours to get there. The first destination we will stop to explore is Muong Hoa Valley. From the top of the valley, you can see the whole beautiful view of Sapa where green paddy terrace blending with cool wind will make you feel relaxed on the way of trekking.

Silver Waterfall
Activities: Pay a visit to Heaven Gate and Silver Waterfall in Sapa. Explore Fansipan Peak before taking the night train back to Hanoi.
We will have breakfast in homestay before driving to Sapa town. You will have a leisure trip to contemplate the spectacular scenery of Fansipan Mount. About one kilometer out of the town, you can see rose flower farms and rubber trees covered a vast area.
On the way, we will stop at magnificent Silver Waterfall before getting to the Heaven Gate. You can take a rest and learn why the waterfall has the romantic name "Silver Waterfall". Keeping on moving some kilometers, you will reach Heaven Gate - the highest mountain pass in Vietnam with the height of 2047m above sea level. Walking around for half an hour for beautiful scenery of both two side of Hoang Lien Son mountain range, you can see the difference of the weather in the two sides: It can be foggy and cloudy on Sapa side while another side it is sunny.
After that, we will stop to visit some lush farm in O Quy Ho, at which you can see many different kinds of vegetables, flowers, fruit trees and even medicinal plants grown for years. You will have a free afternoon in Sapa for walking around to discover the local life here or taking your time to visit Fansipan or Dragon Jaw Mountain.
Drive to Lao Cai Station in the late afternoon for the night train to Hanoi ending your Sapa trekking trip. Stay overnight on the train.

On the way, we will pass through some Northern Vietnamese towns and villages. You can have plenty of chances to take photos of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy field.
When you arrive at the wharf, you will get on the cruise to start your journey on this magical bay and enjoy fresh local seafood onboard.
After having lunch on the cruise, we will have a chance to explore the beauty of Halong Bay by kayaking.
