07.30 - 08.30 We will collect you from your hotel lobby in Hanoi and transfer you across the Red River Delta for about 3.5 to 4 hours until we reach the mainland pier in Halong City.
12.00 Climbing on board the Bhaya Classic Cruise, you will receive a free welcome drink as our captain begins sailing around the vast pillars of limestone jutting dramatically out of the seabed. We head southwest through Halong Bay, looking out for the various famous islands that grace the pictures of hotel rooms in Hanoi.
15.00 Tien Ong Cave is our first destination. You can learn of the history of early human habitation in Halong Bay via a walk through this cave, which contains evidence from 10,000 years ago.
17.00 We rejoin the Bhaya Classic Cruise and settle into Happy Hour at the bar. This will be followed by a quick cooking demonstration, giving you the necessary skills to prepare Vietnamese spring rolls. Our exciting Master Chef Competition will pit passengers against each other to see who will be the best maker of spring rolls and the best fruit carver, with the winner winning special prizes. We settle in the area of Ho Dong Tien tonight.
19.00 Enjoy a beautiful dinner in our elegant restaurant. Afterwards, you have a wealth of opportunities for evening entertainment on board the Bhaya Classic Cruise. You can choose between relaxing in your cabin or on the sundeck, socialising at the bar over drinks, playing card and board games with the crew or trying nighttime squid fishing off a separate boat behind the ship.
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
06.30 - 09.00 Greet the day with a boost of energy as we hold a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. This will be followed by a light breakfast or beverages, fruit and pastries.
09.30 After spending the early morning on the boat, we set sail for Cua Van Fishing Village, a garish community of fishermen living under the towering peaks of Halong Bay’s rock pillars. We will kayak, swim and meet the locals around this wonderfully unique hamlet.
9.30 - 11.00 A full brunch is laid out upon your return to the Bhaya Classic Cruise, during which we will begin our sail back to the harbour. Get the last of your snapshots and soak up the last of the rays before we reach the harbour and wave goodbye to the fantastic crew. The bus to Hanoi will drop you off around mid-afternoon time.
We thank you greatly for joining the Bhaya Classic Cruise around Halong Bay. It is one our deepest wishes to be able to serve you again.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
07.30 - 08.30 Your bus and driver will meet you and take you from your hotel lobby in Hanoi to Halong Bay.

15.00 We will pull up to one of the finest caves in Halong Bay; the Tien Ong Cave; a huge system of dramatic stalactites and stalagmites illuminated in colourful lights.
17.00 After a few hours at the cave, we return to the Bhaya Classic Cruise ship in time for happy hour. We will have a cooking demonstration to show you how to make traditional Vietnamese food out in the open, also featuring our Master Chef Competition where the best fruit carver will win special prizes! We will drop anchor in the Ho Dong Tien area for the night, quite possibly the best place to stay in Halong Bay.
19.00 Savour your second luxury meal on board as your guide explains the itinerary for tomorrow. Take the rest of the evening at your own pace, maybe relax with a book or join the crew for a bit of squid fishing before you head to your cabin for the night.

11.00 After a tour of the floating pearl farm and an educational demonstration of pearl cultivating and finery processing, we will have a very local lunch on the farm.
15.00 Transfer back to the Bhaya Classic Cruise ship and relax.
17.00 Happy hour will restart at the bar. Take a cocktail out to the deck for fantastic views of the bay.
19.00 Enjoy another lavish dinner as the sun sets over Halong Bay, followed by a relaxing evening. Take in a movie or head outside for squid fishing. Settle down for your last night on this beautiful Halong Bay junk boat.

Me and a friend went overnight to Ha Long Bay with Bhaya Cruise and were very impressed. The staff remembered our names without us even telling them, which was crazy! Me and my friend informed them that it was my birthday, so they set up a cake with roses and candles in my room. It was a great surprise! I was a big fan of the air-conditioned rooms and the shower that heated up the water super quickly. We enjoyed every activity with our caring and knowledgeable guides, especially the Surprise Cave, which was insanely beautiful. I would seriously recommend this cruise to anyone, I know there’s a lot of choice out there but Bhaya is 100% a safe bet!

We were a bit overwhelmed with the choice of cruises but were so happy to settle on Bhaya, which we thought was perfect for us. The staff were so warm and friendly throughout, and the activities were so much fun! We got so much accomplished in our 3 days here in terms of activities; we went kayaking and around a cave and a fishing village with Mr Linh as our amazing tour guide. He ensured that we reached the destinations at their quietest times, giving us a much more private experience, all down to his knowledge! There was just us and six other guests, so the whole cruise felt like a private adventure, which is mostly what we wanted. This cruise was everything I imagined and far beyond it. It was well-organised with great staff, delicious food and a comfortable cabin, I really couldn’t have asked for any more. Thanks to each and every member of the staff for giving us such a great time in Halong Bay!
Joel and the crew helped us to have such a great time on the Bhaya Cruise. He was so brilliant! He really cared about each passenger and was so happy to help them in any way that he could! We did some kayaking, some cave exploring and did a trip to a floating village. None of these were compulsory of course, and you can spend time to relax on the boat if you want, but we were so glad that we chose to do them! We had Sam, Alice and Lily to guide us; they knew a lot and it was fun to learn about Halong Bay from them! We had the Long Quan Suite, which was crazy. So much time was spent out on that balcony. The food was 100% fine dining, and absolutely amazing! It was both my birthday and me and my husband’s honeymoon, so the crew gave us a complimentary cake and cocktails as well, which was so sweet of them! This was the highlight of our honeymoon trip to Vietnam, perfect in every way thanks to Bhaya!

We jumped on the Bhaya Classic 1 (Mr. Tom was our manager) and had a good time. All the services and the activities were great. We did some kayaking and some swimming around the boat. The chef showed us how to make spring rolls and we did this afterward. The food was very nice. The cabin and the bathroom were very nice too. They provided wifi on the third floor. The signal was okay sometimes but it cut out a lot, though I understand that this wasn’t their fault. Lots of drinks at the bar. Happy Hour was Buy 1 get 1. Amazing view from the sundeck. Very nice staffs as well.
I booked a 3D-2N cruise with Bhaya Classic and have absolutely no regrets. It was a really clean boat, first and foremost, and you can tell that they took special care of all of the 5-star facilities as well as the guests. We got a Vietnamese tea every time we returned to the boat, which helped the feeling of hospitality a lot. There were so many options available for breakfast and lunch, and the chef made delicious vegetarian food for us despite being the only two on board with a special diet. The 1+1 drink offer at the bar was great, so we made full use of it. We were kept busy with the itinerary but there was still a lot of time for relaxation as well. We went to the cave, floating village and around the mountains in a kayak. We had a cooking competition and Tai Chi on board, which were great group exercises.Bring some comfortable clothing for the excursions. We were impressed with Bhaya Cruise’s attitudes to the environment and trying to keep it as clean as possible. The staff were very accommodating of any special requests and always performed their jobs with a smile. Great cruise.
This trip to Halong Bay with Bhaya Classic was part of our honeymoon holiday to Vietnam. The staff were wonderfully attentive and eased us through a lot of activities, making sure that we were fine along the way. So many options for the buffets at breakfast and lunch, and the set menu dinner each night was incredible, I don’t think I’ve ever had such great meals on a boat before! The rooms were everything we wanted and more, it was even a bit bigger than we had anticipated from the photos. We got out into the bay on kayaks and went to a cave and fishing village. A beautiful time in a beautiful bay, don’t miss out!

This tour to Halong Bay was part of a 2-week vacation in Vietnam. The views throughout were just stunning, even if the government hasn’t quite figured out how to deal with the trash problem here. The staff gave us great information about the bay, while also being incredibly thoughtful and friendly throughout the trip. Our cruise manager, Jessica, was especially lovely, and Mr. Dong had a couple of roles in the dining room as well as teaching Tai Chi in the morning. The food was outstanding and the tour overall far exceeded our expectations. We were sad to leave Halong Bay after the 3 days but were maybe more sad to say goodbye to the crew!
Me and two others went with the Bhaya classic to Halong Bay. The beautiful location was one half of the appeal, but being served by Jessica (Ngan) and her team made it something special. The whole crew had great English and were very professional, especially Jessica, who told us beautifully about Halong Bay and her home country. Wifi was a bit sporadic the whole time, but it just meant that we put our phones down more often and enjoyed the scenery. There was lots of space to move in the bay as it wasn’t very crowded, and also a lot of space on the boat, with just a bit of a squeeze to get three of us in a room. The dining was very fancy and I liked it a lot. We had a whole heap of activites even though we were there for just one night: going to a cave and fishing village, kayaking, cooking class, squid fishing etc. We had a great time and want to thanks Jessica and her crew for really making it a great time for me and my friends!
We stayed overnight on the Bhaya between the last day of June and first of July. We were greeted by staff in a friendly manner upon arriving at the waiting lounge, and given a face towel and a free drink. We boarded the cruise and were welcomed warmly again by the crew. Every meal we had was just amazing, I can’t fault them at all, such a great variety and easy to tailor to your tastes if you tell the chef. Our cabin was very clean and we had a great sleep as the boat doesn’t rock at all during the night. Everyone got involved with the tea ceremony and the cooking class, so that was nice to see. We started the next morning with Tai Chi, which I had never tried before, then had breakfast and went to visit the amazing cave. We had such a great time overall and made new friends and lifelong memories. Do yourself a favour – book with Bhaya and enjoy nothing but relaxation the whole way through.

We had one night on the Bhaya Classic Cruise and were lucky enough to get Tom as our cruise manager. What a fantastic ambassador for Bhaya; so welcoming and kind, he was constantly ensuring that everyone was happy and content. He really did amazingly well to please everyone on board with his great humour and knowledge about Halong Bay, along with Vietnam in general. The ship was very attractive, with great features and a wonderful dining room, where we had some delicious food. We were travelling with a very fussy teenager, but hats off to the chef, who managed to make something that she would eat!
Me and my spouse opted for the 3 day 2 night trip to Halong Bay, which I think is essential to enjoy the bay at a relaxed pace.We have to mention Sunny and Henry, both of whom were fantastic and worked very hard so that we could have a relaxed time. The food was fantastic and you’ll definitely leave full. I can’t eat shellfish so the chef was very accommodating and made me something completely different, which was delicious. The dinners were 5 courses, which is a bit excessive, but tasty all the same. We noticed that the chef made a different breakfast for the crew, which smelled great, so he made it for us the next day too!The trip went to the following places:- Tien Ong Cave – take some decent shoes if you have them because the floor can get quite slippery when wet. The main pathway is very wide but we loved exploring the formations up close down the smaller little alleys.- Floating fishing village – very interesting trip to the village. Was very nice to kayak around it but quite sad to hear of the struggles that the locals go through now.- kayaking – Another peaceful experience getting up close to the rocks and around some of the beaches. There was quite a bit of rubbish floating in the sea, which was disheartening. Our guide said it was worse than usual because a typhoon had helped to wash it all up.- a pearl farm – this bit wasn’t particularly interesting, but it was short and we enjoyed the sunset overlooking the farm from the boat afterwards!

Me and the missus did a 2 day – 1 night trip to Halong Bay in Bhaya Classic and it went perfectly. We were upgraded at check-in and got a better room with a balcony, which was great. There was nothing but smiles from Tom and the rest of the crew, who were so helpful, kind and knowledgeable, with really good English that made getting to know them much easier. Every activity was amazing, including: kayaking, the cooking class, tea ceremony and happy hour on the deck!I had a small confrontation with a jellyfish but Tom was on hand to make sure I got the correct medical attention. He then got me a drink afterwards to apologise even though it was obviously not his fault. It just added to the list of reasons why this trip was so amazing. It was definitely worth staying overnight rather than going for the day, and we couldn’t have chosen a better cruise than Bhaya Classic to go with. Thanks guys!

Wonderful trip the whole way through. Our driver arrived on time and took us in a very comfortable bus with wifi to the harbour. We checked in smoothly at the harbour and already felt like we were in the care of real professionals. We had a terrace suite on the Bhaya Classic. I read some reviews that said there wasn’t enough space here to leave luggage, but I thought there was plenty of space, especially as we only had carry on bags. It was also very clean and well-organised, with a great air-conditioner. Great power and temperature to the shower in the bathroom, I’ve been in some 5 star hotels that don’t have amenities like these. There were some parts of the ship that had become a little worn with age, but you would have to be very pernickety to mention this as a problem. We got flowers upon arriving from the staff, who were wonderful throughout the cruise and always greeted us with a smile. We requested no seafood and the staff made sure that never happened. They beef they gave us instead was a little overcooked, but still pretty good. We took part in as many activities as possible: kayaking, swimming, the cooking class and some nighttime squid fishing (pretty sure no one caught anything!), tai chi class in the morning and visiting the cave. We were lucky enough to be on board with a lot of nice passengers, so that certainly helped our mood. The dinner, breakfast and brunch the next day were fantastic. So that’s the crew and the ship. Halong Bay itself was just beautiful. It’s the perfectly place to just sit and watch, which is mostly what we did. We lay on the sun loungers under the moon while we were moored and it was pretty magical. Thanks Bhaya for a fantastic cruise, I wholeheartedly recommend them!
