07.30 - 08.00 Wait in your hotel lobby for our driver to transfer you to Hon Gai Harbour in Halong City.

12.30 Take your welcome drink aboard the Amira Cruise when it pulls into the harbour.

13.00 - 13.15 We eat lunch while discovering the first of Bai Tu Long Bay’s immense limestone cliffs.

15.00 We head to Thien Canh Son Cave, Bai Tu Long’s biggest grotto with an interesting wealth of rock formations that appear in local legend.

16.30 We have the option of kayaking, but feel free to relax on the boat if that does not appeal.

18.00 - 19.00 Happy Hour will start once we return to the Amira Cruise. A cooking demonstration will reveal to us the mysteries of some Vietnamese foods.

19.15 - 19.30 The restaurant is the place to be for dinner; you can stare through its large windows at the sparkling bay at night.

21.00 Enjoy your free time after dinner tonight. We have squid fishing available if you want to try something new. Otherwise, you could return to your cabin to read in peace.

06.30 Join our onboard Tai Chi teacher on the sundeck as he takes you through some of the necessary techniques for this ancient martial art.

07.10 The final day on the Amira Cruise starts with breakfast as we pull up anchor.

07.45 We cruise over to Vung Vieng Fishing Village and get up close and personal with this floating community of fishermen and their families.

09.45 Take the last of your photos on the cruise back to the harbour.

10.30 Fill up on food at brunch to give you energy for the ride home.

11.00 - 11.30 Step off the Amira Cruise and board the bus that will take you back to Hanoi. End of 2 day cruise in Bai Tu Long Bay with Amira Cruise.

07.30 - 08.00 Pick-up will be at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Our guide will collect you from the lobby.

12.30 We arrive at Hon Gai Harbour and board the Amira Cruise.

12.30 - 12.45 Welcome drinks will be handed out at the short cruise briefing.

13.00 - 13.15 Take in the first sights of Bai Tu Long Bay from the dining room as we start on a wonderful lunch.

15.00 A tour of the stalactites and stalagmites around Thien Canh Son Cave will convey the magic of the cave and the local legends surrounding it.

16.30 Decide between staying on the boat and kayaking in the placid waters in the late afternoon.

18.00 - 19.00 The boat begins sailing to its overnight location while our chef provides a cooking class to the guests. Happy Hour begins at the bar so head over there for great deals.

19.30 Sit down in the restaurant for an amazing dinner while the stars begin to twinkle outside.

21.00 You have free time to enjoy yourself aboard the Amira Cruise tonight. Perhaps try squid fishing with the crew or head to the bar for social drinks.

06.30 Our onboard Tai Chi teacher will show you the benefits of this ancient martial art with a class on the top deck.

07.00 We begin cruising to Cap La as breakfast is served in the restaurant.

09.30 We have the morning to spend in secluded Cap La, enjoying its private beach and swimming and kayaking in its placid waters.

11.30 - 12.00 Lunch will be served back aboard the Amira Cruise.

14.30 Vung Vieng Fishing Village is a floating enclave of colourful houses tethered to each other by rope. We can explore the village by kayak or local sampan boat rowed by one of the residents.

16.00 Re-boarding the Amira Cruise, we begin sailing towards the Cong Do area for another restful night’s sleep.

17.00 Our chef will show you how to create elaborate flowers by carving into fruit. This will coincide with another happy hour.

19.15 - 19.30 Relax into the evening with a lovely dinner before you settle on your evening entertainment once more.

06.30 Tai Chi will again be held on the sundeck. Join us for the most fantastic views of Bai Tu Long Bay’s limestone karsts in the new morning light.

07.00 Breakfast will follow as we prepare for the final day aboard the Amira Cruise.

07.45 Cong Do and Be Ong Dau provide the perfect conditions for kayaking, so we will make the most of this opportunity.

09.30 Returning to the boat, we check out of our rooms and take the last of our photos.

10.30 A filling brunch will be served in the restaurant on the cruise back to the harbour.

11.00 - 11.30 The crew will wave you off the Amira Cruise as you jump on the bus to return to Hanoi. Your 3 day 2-night cruise itinerary in Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay ends.
