Our connecting rooms offer the perfect accommodation for medium-sized families, as these are conjoined rooms with one double bed and two single beds. A balcony on each side of the 28m2 space opens up more of Halong Bay to you, while two bathrooms offer convenience for you and your loved ones.

07:45 - 08:30: Head out on the tour bus with the rest of the passengers once it arrives at your lobby. Our destination is Halong Bay, 3.5 – 4 hours to the east.
12:30: You will be welcomed onto the Apricot Premium Cruise with a smile from the staff and a welcome drink.
13:00: Our journey starts with a delicious lunch, served in style in the dining room.
14:30: After some relaxing cruising, we arrive at the Surprising Cave, one of the more famous of Halong Bay’s caves. The guide will show us some of the mesmerising geological features within.
16:00: We head to Titop Island after this, a beautiful speck in the middle of the blue sea, with sands for relaxing and a viewing platform offering incredible vistas from the top of the island’s peak.
17:00: The boat will be hosting a sunset party with free wine and fruit once we return, so make the most of this while watching the sunset behind the limestone hills.
19:00: Dinner is served after this. You will be able to enjoy squid fishing, drinks at the bar or quiet relaxation in your cabin.

06:30: We begin the day anew on the sundeck, as a tai chi session introduces us to the health benefits of this ancient martial art.
07:00: The Apricot Premium Cruise begins sailing once again, with a breakfast served in its dining room to accompany this.
08:00: We head out on kayaks to a quiet area of water, where we can enjoy the serenity afforded by the tall, streaked mountains on all sides of us.
09:30: A cooking demonstration will be led by one of our talented chefs upon our return to the boat.
11:00: Get the last of your photos and take an early lunch as Tuan Chau harbour pulls into sight. We will disembark the Apricot Premium Cruise here and take the bus back to Hanoi.

07:45 - 08:30: Once our driver has arrived at your hotel lobby in Hanoi, we can head eastwards across the Red River Delta to Halong Bay.
12:00 – 12:30: Finding the Apricot Premium Cruise waiting for us at Tuan Chau harbour, we board and enjoy the welcome drink presented by the staff.
13:00: Lunch will be laid out for us in the dining room as we begin our cruising through the emerald sea in front of us.
14:30: The Surprising Cave is where we start our excursions. We will take a guided tour of this impressive cavern, learning of the folk legends attached to the rocks here.
16:00: Depending on the season of our sailing, we will have two different options for our next activity:
- In the summer, we head to Titop Island and explore the dragon fang-shaped islet on its beach, in its water or atop its magnificent peak, where a viewing platform provides incredible vistas of the bay.
- In the winter, we take an informative trip to Tung Sau pearl farm, where we learn of one of the bay’s most high-value trades.
17:00: A sunset party back aboard the Apricot Premium Cruise will usher us in style to our overnight anchorage point. Free wine and fruits will be laid out as we watch the sun dip behind the limestone mountains.
19:00: The dining room will be the spot for the first of two fantastic dinners on the tour. After this, you can spend the evening at your own leisure, enjoying squid fishing, social drinks or relaxing in your cabin.

Option 1: Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay - Overnight in Cat Ba Island
06:00: The new day starts with a fantastic tai chi session, held on the sundeck.
07:00: We continue with breakfast and a transfer to the Apricot Premium day boat, which will begin its sailing to Lan Ha Bay.
09:00: Upon arriving at the bay, we head out in kayaks around a beautiful wet cave, returning to the day boat afterwards to enjoy our relaxed cruising.
12:00: A delicious lunch will bring an end to the tranquil morning and herald the afternoon.
13:00: We arrive at Monkey Island, one of the wonderful inhabited islands of the Cat Ba archipelago. Depending on your choice of accommodation for the second night, you will either:
• Enjoy the rest of the day on Monkey Island, engaging in sporting activities on the beach, swimming in the sea or taking a trek through the jungle. Dinner will be served in your private bungalow.
Or
• Re-board the Apricot Premium day boat and head to Cat Ba town on the archipelago’s main island. On Cat Ba Island, you can find a wealth of activities in and around the town. Dinner will be served in your hotel’s restaurant.
Option 2: Halong Bay Cruising - Overnight onboard
06:00: Tai chi on the sundeck will get us off to a great start today.
07:00: The dining room will host a delicious breakfast, after which you can grab your essentials and head out on the Apricot Premium day boat.
09:30: Our first stop this morning is to Dong Tien Lake, where we can admire the beauty of a shimmering body of water and the lush beauty stretching up around it.
10:00: We spend the rest of the morning kayaking and swimming around Trong Cave.
12:45: We take lunch on the day boat after this, followed by more languid cruising around Halong Bay.
14:30: Tung Sau pearl farm will be our last stop. Here we will have a brief tour of how locals gather and refine pearls from the abundant ocean around them.
16:20: Back aboard the Apricot Premium Cruise, we enjoy the sunset party with a new set of passengers and ease into another tranquil evening with a cooking demonstration.
19:00: Take dinner in the dining room once again. The evening is yours afterwards, so enjoy it with social drinks and karaoke if you are not inclined to head to bed early.

Option 1: Cat Ba Island - Back to the boat - Hanoi
07:00: Savour the breakfast at your accommodation before the day boat returns. Board the boat and head back with the other passengers to the Apricot Premium Cruise.
Option 2: Halong Bay Cruising - Hanoi
06:00: Return to the sundeck for more sunrise tai chi with our onboard tai chi teacher.
07:00: The dining room hosts another splendid breakfast to ready us for the day ahead.
08:00: We take the morning at a leisurely pace, soaking up the bay’s gorgeous atmosphere from the sundeck. A cooking demonstration will be held here before lunch.
11:00: Lunch is served during our return to the harbour.
11:30 - 12:00: Once disembarked from the Apricot Premium Cruise at the mainland, we will head back to Hanoi on the comfortable bus.

I had a very great time within 2 day 1 night with Apricot cruise. Rooms were nice and bathroom was clean. We had a pleasant stay on board and activities organized were perfect. Food was excellent and there were many good selections at every meal. Kayaking was fun but the kayaks could do with a clean- my shorts stank after sitting in the black stale water that pools inside the kayaks. I'm the evening this boat turned into a bit of a party boat. We were still suffering jet lag so went to bed early... luckily we were tired enough to sleep through the loud noise and shaking floor boards. This possibility should be more clearly advertised, as there were a mix of ages on the boat, and not everyone wants a party atmosphere. Ben, our host worked hard to incorporate a lot into our one night stay which meant there wasn't much 'down time' but lots of fun. Halong bay was beautiful. Just a shame about the amount of rubbish in the water... the local authorities need to take action on this before it ruins the natural beauty of the place. Overall we had a good stay. Apricot cruises seems to be slightly better than some of the other cruises, but they are pretty similar. All a bit run down, and could do with better attention to detail.

We’ve just came back from a 2 day 1 night Halong Bay cruise and felt very happy. It was an incredible value for money. Halong Bay was amazing and caves were stunning. It was one of the largest caves I have ever visited. It was dry when we went, which is odd for caves but I guess normal for areas with rainy and dry seasons. We also "hiked" up Ti Top Island and kayaked morning. The food was amazing and plentiful. I am vegan and the meals all included meat of some sort. I informed one of the waiters of this and they made vegan dishes for me throughout the cruise. In general, the trip was a nice mix of relaxation and exploration. I look forward for my next trip with this Apricot Cruise. Our guide was very polite and friendly also.

We were glad that we contacted Dannie, who is the tour guide and assisted us in the tour arrangement. More importantly, this is for real deal. Heard so many advice from people about fake websites and unscrupulous operators, so I was very cautious when booking. They are so many operators for Halong Bay Cruise, ranging from basic cruise to premium 5 stars cruise. Apricot is rated as 3 stars but it as good as what you pay for. Stayed 2 days 1 night on the boat. Room was ok, food was ok as well. All in, all guests have been very happy with Apricot Cruise and Dannie. The tour pick us up from the hotel and send us back after the cruise. So it was all ok. While the cruise operator has been excellent, we cannot leave without commenting on the breathtaking beauty of Halong Bay itself. It’s beautiful with the rare rock formation. Strongly recommended for tourists visiting Hanoi.

We had an enjoyable tour in Halong Bay with Apricot cruise. The cruise was clean and our deluxe room was comfortable. Staffs were friendly, especially our guide who was very kind and knowledgeable. He took care of us really well. We enjoyed all the activities and kayaking was my favorite one. But I think it would be better if transport bus could be upgraded to a bigger one since seats were quite small with tight leg room. Overall, our stay on Apricot cruise was nice and we would come back again.

Our family spent 2 days 1 nigh on boat and we had a great experience with Apricot cruise. Halong Bay's beauty took our breaths away day and night. We booked the trip with a travel agency in Hanoi. The price is included transfer to Halong Bay, cabin stay, meals and boat. On the cruise we met many lovely people from all over the world and we made friends really quick. The cabins were clean with wonderful view to the Bay. We loved the beautiful scenery and the exciting visiting caves. Food was delicious and itinerary was well organized. Thumbs up for our guide Ben for being so helpful. I would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone who is interested in visiting Halong Bay.
