08.00 – 08.30: Wait in your hotel lobby for our tour guide and driver, who will pick you up in the shuttle bus to transfer you across the Red River Delta to Bai Tu Long Bay.

12.00: Arriving at the harbour in Hai Phong City, you will meet and board the Cristina Diamond Cruise as it sits majestically in the bay. A welcome drink will greet you upon boarding.

13.00: Get started on the wonderful buffet lunch spread out in the dining room. The first of Bai Tu Long Bay’s incredible limestone karsts glides past the window outside.

14.30 – 17.00: We learn of the fishing and pearl cultivation businesses of Vung Vieng Fishing Village, taking a kayak or bamboo boat around its waters. Following this, we sail towards the Ban Chan beach area, a secluded beach pressed against the sea by the gigantic limestone mountains behind it.

17.30: Join the Sunset Party back on board the Cristina Diamond Cruise, sharing your experiences of the day’s events with new and old friends.

18.45: We have an extravagant 8-course meal of small dishes, giving you a chance to taste royal cuisine that past kings and queens of Vietnam would have lavishly enjoyed.

21.00: After dinner, we have a wealth of activities with which you can entertain yourself. We have board games, card games and the opportunity to try squid fishing for the first time. The bar is open, but of course, you are welcome to retire to your cabin whenever you feel.

07.00: The new day will greet you as the sunlight seeps through the gaps in Bai Tu Long Bay’s forested mountains. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the new morning aura.

08.00: The amazing interior of Thien Canh Son Cave provides many opportunities for exploration, as does the expansive viewing platform reachable by a stone staircase.

10.00: Back on board the Cristina Diamond Cruise, our chef will put on a cooking show, displaying the various techniques needed to prepare and cook Vietnamese spring rolls.

11.00: Relish a beautiful Vietnamese brunch as we begin sailing past the myriad tree-topped outcrops until we reach Hon Gai Harbour.

12.00: We will disembark the Cristina Diamond Cruise at Hon Gai harbour to a fond farewell from the staff. Board the shuttle bus and enjoy the views on the way back to Hanoi, where we will drop you off at your hotel at around 16.00. End of Halong Bay Cruise 2 day 1 night itinerary.

08.00: Our driver and tour guide will come to your hotel lobby in Hanoi with the shuttle bus to transfer you to Halong City.

12.00: Board the Cristina Diamond Cruise with a welcome drink as the tour guide provides the itinerary briefing.

13.00: A delicious buffet lunch will be served in the dining room as the first of Halong Bay’s magnificent limestone karst scenery passes by the windows.

14.30 – 17.00: We cruise over to Vung Vieng Fishing Village and nearby pearl farm, where we will take a traditional bamboo boat to discover the lives of locals and their pearl cultivation businesses. After this, we will head to Ban Chan beach for relaxing on its isolated sands and swimming in its calm waters.

17.30: We re-board the Cristina Diamond Cruise and settle into the Sunset Party on the sundeck.

18.45: Our luxurious 8-course meal was once the food of royals and you can sample these regal dishes on board. 

21.00: We have many activities for the evening time on board. The sundeck is a great place to listen to Halong Bay’s ambient soundtrack, otherwise you could have some drinks at the bar or play board games, card games, or go squid fishing with the crew.

06.30: Great the new dawn with a Tai Chi class on the top deck.

07.00: Tea, coffee and breakfast foods will be available in the dining room.

08.30: We will board the day boat and start sailing to the beautiful Cap La Area of Bai Tu Long Bay.

09.30: Our guide will point out the many interesting rock features and formations of Thay Cave, one of the many beautiful caves in Bai Tu Long Bay.

10.15: We will head over to the wonderful Vung Ha Area and its towering tree-topped mountains that shield a sandy beach against the sea.

12.30 – 15.00: A barbecue lunch will be served aboard the day boat, after which we have the early afternoon to relax, swim and kayak around Vung Ha.

15.00: We return to the Cristina Diamond Cruise for you to spend the second part of your afternoon relaxing on the sundeck or in any of our other guest rooms.

19.30: Another delectable dinner is served when the sun goes down behind the limestone pillars.

21.00: We have many activities for the evening time on board. The sundeck is a great place to listen to Halong Bay’s ambient soundtrack, otherwise you could have some drinks at the bar or play board games, card games, or go squid fishing with the crew.

06.00: Rise early to experience the special feeling of a new day in Bai Tu Long Bay.

07.00: Enjoy your breakfast in the dining room as we set sail for our first stop.

08.00: Thien Canh Son Cave translates to ‘mountainous landscape in Heaven’ and you can see why it is called this when we visit its amazing interior.

10.00: Join the chef’s cooking demonstration to show you the traditional way to make Vietnamese spring rolls.

11.00: A Vietnamese brunch will fill you up on the cruise back to the mainland.

12.00: We get back to Hon Gai Harbour where you will disembark from the Cristina Diamond Cruise. Wave goodbye to your crew as you get on the shuttle bus to go back to Hanoi, where your tour will end at around 16.00.
