Around 08:30 Limousine will pick up guests from hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or Hanoi Opera House (applicable for guests who booked transportation service). Our driver will take a 10-15 minute break by a station for guests to rest on the way.
11:30 Arrive at Scarlet Pearl Cruise's Lounge in Halong International Cruise Port to check-in. Guests will be offered “welcome drink” and listen to instructions before boarding.
12:00 Guests will start boarding.
13:00 A splendid lunch is served at Tahiti Restaurant while the cruise travelling across primitive Lan Hạ Bay. The bay has hundreds of islands and islets, making it a wonderful background for guests to look at while dining.
15:00 Arrive at Sáng Cave by kayaking or rowing boat as the path towards the cave is 70m long of water. On the way, guests will be amazed by sparkling karst arcs through sunlight. Afterwards, guests are invited to enter Ếch Lagoon, an extremely serene and emerald spot to kayak and swim. It’ll be a wonderful chance to immerse in one of the most remote parts of Lan Hạ Bay. The shape of this lagoon looks like a giant frog resting, hence it explains the name “Ao Ếch” in Vietnamese.
17:00 Return to the cruise to relax and admire the sunset on the sundeck.
17:30 Watching sunset over Lan Hạy Bay is one of the moments that shouldn’t be missed out. During this time, there will be either a Sunset Party in Sky Bar or a cooking class hosted by our Chef (depending on the season).
From 17:30-18:30, it is Happy Hour meaning Buy One Get One Free - this promotion is applied on our limited drinks menu. Guests can also choose to watch the sunset by catamaran while sipping fresh cocktails (this is surcharged).
19:00 Fine-dining dinner will be started along with fun and interactive cultural exchange between all the guests and our Vietnamese host.

06:30 Begin a new day with a Tai Chi session while welcoming magnificent sunrise. (Guests can also choose to take photos and enjoy the scene if they prefer so.) A light breakfast is served from
06:45-07:30 in the refreshing and peaceful beauty of the Bay.
09:00 Tour around Ba Trái Đào Beach, one of the most gorgeous beaches in Lan Hạ Bay. Then, guests will visit Việt Hải Village on Cát Bà Island and hop on bicycle rides (or electric cars). On this island, guests will have the chance to go through a rainforest tunnel and sightseeing its gorgeous scenery. Meet and greet the locals living their life, check out their houses and school. A small village of only 80 households nestled in the midst of forests and covered by high mountain range of Cát Bà National Park, Việt Hải locals practise a self-sufficient lifestyle by farming, fishing and breeding. (*Please note that a visit to Việt Hải Village might be cancelled due to bad weather.)
12:00 Taste a fresh lunch on the luxury catamaran, in which guests will have the chance to go fishing and swimming in the remote areas with the most breathtaking views. This exquisite picnic might be the highlight of the day.
14:30 Return to Scarlet Pearl Cruise. Guests can then restore with a true expert massage from Akoya Spa. .

After looking some options for Halong Bay Cruises, we chose Scarlet Pearl Cruises and agreed that this was the cruise for our trip to Halong Bay. It was not disappointed, it was truly hassle- free experience. We were picked up by a professional driver at Hai Phong Airport and took the transfer to the international port where we were welcomed by the staff of Scarlet Pearl Cruise who handed us the itinerary of the cruise and water bottles. We took a transfer with a small boat to the main cruise – Scarlet Pearl Cruise. Our first impression were the rose petals when we board the cruise. We were guided to the dinning room where we have very delicious lunch with beautiful view of Halong Bay. Biking in Cat Ba Island to Viet Hai Village was interesting with scenic route. We met the local people and learn about their life there. We returned to the cruise and Chris show us how to make the traditional Vietnamese spring rolls. In the evening we had very nice dinner and had very interesting chatting with friends and enjoyed the squid fishing. The Tai Chi on boat was so amazing before the breakfast and we did the kayaking trip around the bay. There was option for the people did not want to do kayaking as they could do the sampan boat through the cave around Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. We were lucky to see a family of Voots, an endanger species of the money family native to Halong Bay. We return to the port and took the transfer to the airport but the flight was delayed but the changed the transport schedule to make sure we had a good experience. Thank you so much Scarlet Pearl. WE couldn’t be any happier choosing you as our cruiseline.

The boat is very comfortable with large room. It is outstanding with 360 – degree sea view. Scarlet Pearl Cruise activities are fantastic. The lunch and dinner were so luxurious and tasty as we expected. We truly enjoy our vacation there by joining the kayaking and fishing. There were many services on board like gym, restuarants, etc. Sitting on boat and watching the stunning sunset in Halong Bay was so fantastic and I like that feeling. How beautiful it was and I recommend it to all of you and my friends. I hope to come back again and I will chose Scarlet Pearl again.

I have been traveling my whole life, at least once or twice per year. However, Scarlet Pearl Cruise this time is the best trip I have ever been. The cabin was super clean but the staff truly amazes me. They are skillful and helpful every time from check-in to the late check-out and they were trying the best to help us without asking it. I like the food and the drinks at the lounge. The Scarlet Pearl Cruise also has very airy terrace where I really enjoyed the clean and beautiful blue sky from the most beautiful place of Halong Bay. The moment I spent here were so worthy from the quality of the services to the kindness of staffs. It is not a cheap cruise but it is very good value for money. I really recommend that cruise for anyone.

We book this cruise through a hotel in Hanoi. It is a part of Hanoi stay and cruise package that was offer. We stay in La Siesta Hotel in Hanoi and Scarlet Pearl Cruise for 3 day 2 night. After this trip I recommend anyone visiting Halong Bay to stay for 3 days 2 night so you have more time for relaxing and you can enjoy Halong Bay scenery more. The drive from Hanoi to the pier is about 3 hour so it is better to do the trip longer. The boat is very new and the staffs are very friendly, the rooms are very modern and the beds are very clean. The only bad thing is the wifi is not so good so do not expect much for the wifi when you are on the cruise because the signal is not so good. The meals on Scarlet Pearl is very good for the price we paid. The only complaints is the weather is not so good in December because there is no sun and the temperature somewhat was down to 18C. I think it is better to visit Halong Bay in Oct/November when it is warmer. Thank you Scarlet Pearl for a great trip.

We had great time from the moments we got into the boat. Amazing hospitable welcome from the crews, especially Anna and Phillip. The cabin was spacious and nice with a private balcony. The food for lunch, dinner, breakfast and brunch on the next day all are excellent. Thank you for all. We will back soon.
