The peak of luxury on the Peony Cruise is the Peony Exclusive Suite, projecting decadence throughout its 45m2 space. The double bed in the centre of the room looks onto a wall-mounted TV above an elongated day bed. These lie next to a working desk and a wall-length window, with a large balcony fitted with sun loungers and a small dining area. A bathroom completes the room with an enlarged bathtub and a separate glass-panel shower.

There, you go kayaking to discover the truest beauty of the limestone islands. Immerse yourself in the emerald green water of the bay or enjoy the Jacuzzi pool on the Peony Cruises.

We prepare a Cooking class for you to learn how to make one of the most famous Vietnamese cuisines, the spring rolls. Or reach the top deck of cruise where the guests can admire the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.

You will join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. It takes 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang – one of the most impressive caves in Cat Ba island, Vietnam. The limestone cave has thousands of stalactites in various shapes, offering geological values with a typical cave ecosystem.

Return to the main boat from the cave and the guests will do the cabin check out. Luggage is placed outside of the cabin.
Lunch is served at the restaurant. Settle the bar bill by the desk at the restaurant (if any)

Disembark the Peony Cruises and transferred back to Block #34, Big Bay group terminal, Tuan Chau Marina. Relax and wait for the luggage.

Head to the sundeck for a revitalising Tai Chi session in the new dawn of Halong Bay. Breakfast will be laid out in the dining room.

Transfer to tender to visit Viet Hai village. Here we will do a cycling tour around the rice paddies of Viet Hai, also heading through rainforests and stopping at village houses along the way.
Optional electric car service is available (at an extra cost).
Back to day boat for visiting Lan Ha Bay. Lunch will be served on the day boat.

Visit Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches islets), this peaceful body of water has beautiful scenery,
making it the perfect place for scenic kayaking or relaxing on a sandy beach.

Back on board the Orchid Cruise, another traditional cooking class will give you more of an insight into Vietnamese cuisine.

Another wonderful dinner is served in the dining room as night descends on Lan Ha Bay.

Definitely, you have to experience the service of Peony cruise and if it’s possible, you should go with the 3 day itinerary. Staff are professional in service, guide is knowledgeable. In particular, what we care about is the room we will stay in. It was nice and extremely comfortable. There is nothing to complain at all. Great!!!!

We stayed on peony cruise for 2 nights 3 days and we think it’s the best way to get the best experience on Peony Cruise. Staying two nights allows you to do more excursion with more interesting activities. I mean if you have time but in case you just have to do 1-night cruise and it will still ok. Room is comfortable will fully-equipped. Food is good. Nice staff, informative tour guide. Overall really really recommend!!!!!

We did experience a 2-night on Peony Cruise and we guess that was a right choice. Peony Cruise was lovely and everything of it is perfect: informative and funny guide, friendly staff, comfortable room, delicious food and interesting activities like bike riding to the village (we loved it much). And we highly recommend to do the 2 night cruise as one would be just too short.
