Lan Ha bay
Launched in 2018
New luxury graces Lan Ha Bay in the form of the Stellar of the Seas Cruise, the right choice for your 5-star passage through stunning Lan Ha Bay. Here at Aclass Cruises, we believe in new experiences. The Stellar of the Seas eschews the copy-and-paste tours of Halong Bay to offer you something fresh, bold and wild in its beautiful yet underappreciated neighbor to the south, Lan Ha Bay. Our itinerary has taken months of sculpting; we are determined to give you an individual experience with the perfect balance of relaxation on our 5-star cruise ship and excursions to some of La Ha Bay’s gorgeous attractions and the paradisiacal aura that they emanate.
To this end, the Stellar of the Seas contains amenities you won’t find on any other Lan Ha Bay cruise. Our wine and cigar cellar is the epitome of opulence; many an evening can be spent here indulging in the finest wine and cigars from around the world. We have a mini-golf course on the bottom deck and a luxurious swimming pool on the deck above, perfect for unwinding after an eventful day on the bay. If it’s a deeper relaxation that you seek, you can find it in our onboard massage parlour where our range of spa treatments will match the aura of tranquility encompassing Lan Ha Bay. Our fine dining room, panoramic bar and 22 luxury cabins complete the rest of the Stellar of the Seas – your royal vessel in Lan Ha Bay.
08.45 - 09.15 – Wait for your luxury van to arrive outside your Hanoi hotel. You will meet the bus and head to Tuan Chau Habour on 5B Highway.
11.30 – 11.50 – Relax at the Tuan Chau Marina before the Stellar of the Seas pulls into the harbour. Board your new luxury craft to a welcome drink while you meet the captain and crew.
12.30 – Lunch will be served in our fine dining room or, if weather allows, on the sundeck with its panoramic view of Lan Ha Bay.
14.15 – Relax into your new surrounds as we cruise over to Ba Trai Dao. You can indulge in a massage, play a round of mini-golf or maybe take your initial dip in the pool.
14.15 – Upon arriving at Ba Trai Dao Island (three peaches) you will see three squat rocks whose resemblance to peaches is how this secluded destination got its name. We will spend a few hours here on the white sand beach and in the clear water in front of it.
17.00 – Our party on the sundeck is a great chance to enjoy cocktails and share stories with other passengers while the sun casts a fading red light over Lan Ha Bay’s shimmering water.
19.15 – We will have a barbecue dinner in either our indoor or outdoor dining areas. Our extensive list of evening entertainment includes squid fishing, board games, a movie night or the option of a nighttime swim in our floodlit pool.

A must-see place with a must-board cruise! All the pictures of Halong Bay cannot describe its nature beauty, an outstanding scenery. We booked Stellar Of the Seas for 3 days 2 nights at first only for its modern and luxury decor and then we was surprised of everything from the excellent excursions to all professional staffs who are very lovely and welcoming. They care specially about the safety and that definitely a bonus point I gave to this cruise. Although the price is bit higher than the others, but I have nothing to regret after all. We even hope they have a longer trip because we haven‘t wanted to end our luxury experiences so soon. Rating 5 stars may not enough with this amazing trip!
If you are wondering whether Ha Long Bay is as spectacular as it looks in the photos ... it is. So whether you go with this company or something a little less expensive, just make sure you go. We have just returned from our overnight stay on the Stellar of the Seas. This company has a number of boats in Ha Long Bay, however the Stellar is unique. From what we could see is the most luxurious vessel there. We had a twin Executive Suite, with wrap around balcony. It was fantastic. The boat’s sleek design and high spec makes it stand out on the bay. They will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and after couple hours of driving you will get there. You will be transferred into a small boat to get to the main one. Everything if gorgeous, both natural and man-made way. The food was delicious and plentiful. We were treated to a five course banquet on arrival. There is a great cocktail bar too with panoramic views on the front deck. We absolutely loved it. We've already recommended it to friends and would absolutely do it again.
What an excellent trip – highly recommend! The trip is beautiful and we were told this is one of the few boats to take the less busy side of Halong Bay – which was great. A very modern and spacious ship and amazing crew members. They looked after us so well, we really didn’t want to leave. Everyone on board was wonderful to us. Our only regret is that we only booked for one night, I wish we had done the longer trip. Extremely well-organized from pick up to check in and all the activities as well as return. I really liked the way they used small boats rowed by locals to take us to the cave. I regretted not having enough time to enjoy more. The bed and bathroom were great, food was also delicious. This is probably the best ship in Halong Bay with the highest standard.
Among countless boats in the 48 hours of cruising, Stellar of the seas by A-Class Cruises is clearly the winner. This is probably the most comfortable cruise on the bay. We booked directly by email a two night cruise before arriving in Vietnam. The transfer was clean and comfortable Limousine car. Once we arrived, the crew assembled on the stern waving a welcome to us. This is the first sign of excellent customer care of them. Lunch will be served immediately after arriving, really tasty with nice presentation. Room was spacious enough, bathroom is equipped with a tub and a large window. But most importantly, they have a Japanese Toto toilet. It is heated, and with the weather rather chilly in early March, it was a very welcome creature comfort to have. There were a lot of fun activities on the bay, included kayaking, swimming under a cave, visiting a fishing village. We tried snake wine and learned a little Vietnamese. In the night, there was a cooking class and a buffet dinner. Also we did some squid fishing. My wife was the only person to catch any squid, which made her day! It was fun to try. Overall, the experience was amazing. The boat is comfortable, staff is helpful, the food was delightful and activities were interesting. Pulling to port and seeing other boats on the way, we were happy to have chosen Stellar of the seas.
My wife and I booked the 2 day 1 night Cruise with Aclass Stellar Cruise and it was fantastic. We did a few activities on the boat like squid fishing but sadly I didn’t catch anything, karaoke and cooking on board. Also we went kayaking, swimming and visiting caves. Our tour guide made this trip more fantastic. He was warm, friendly and knowledgeable of the destinations. We felt that we learned a lot about Vietnam, Halong Bay and the caves. The crew member was attentive as well, served us delicious meals and hats off to the chefs for an amazing smoke show! Rooms were comfortable and worth the price. Highly recommend this ship.
Halong Bay is so beautiful and it wasn’t overrated at all with a spectacular scenery. We decided to book a cruise to observe that beauty and Stellar of the seas was our choice. The highlight of this trip was the crew. I gave them a preview of the ridiculously long list of things I don’t ear and they made everything just right. This explains how proud they are of their brand new ship. The ship is fantastic. Cabins are large and comfortable, better than most hotel rooms. The bathroom was also amazing with large bathtubs, proper shower… The first night we got a junior suite but it was quite noisy because it’s in front of the ship. The staff upgraded for us the senior suite which is way better. They even showed us the executive suite and it looks just like in the website. If you really want to sail in style, tae the presidential one. That one is no joke, it’s gorgeous! I really enjoyed the cruise schedule to cruise around, do kayaking and swimming in the nice water. For everyone who wants to visit Halong Bay, try Stellar of the seas cruise. One small note: go after March. The place with sunshine is probably much better.
