The Paradise Cave Tour From Hue is a group tour (join tour) in Vietnam and it is a comprehensive tour of one of the most stunning caves in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. Paradise Cave also goes by the name ‘the Underground Palace’ because of its enormous open chambers and stately rock formations, creating the feel of the home of an emperor. Itinerary

Activities: Explore historical sites in Quang Trị Province including La Vang Church, Quang Tri Citadel, Hien Luong Bridge, and Ben Hai River. Then visiting Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park to see the beauty of glistening rock formations and its secret charm.

Morning:

06.30 – 07.00 am: Our tour guide will collect you from your hotel and the Paradise Cave Tour from Hue will begin.

We will visit the remarkable La Vang Church in Quang Tri Province en route, also passing Quang Tri Citadel, famous for a vicious and long battle during the American War. The Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge and the Doc Mieu Base are all other sites we will pass before arriving in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.

Afternoon:

We will unload from the bus and have a beautiful local lunch at a restaurant around midday. Afterwards, we will drive the rest of the short distance to Paradise Cave, the longest dry cave in Asia.

After climbing the zigzagging stairs, the white light and the eerie shadows of elegant stalactites and stalagmites that it casts will greet you first. Marvel at the size and grandeur of the layered rocks here, many of which are still without names due to the very recent discovery of the cave. The series of ‘glass pillars’ are crystal stalactites, glistening from the light reflecting of their watery surfaces.

Of the 31km of underground caverns that comprise Paradise Cave, visitors are only permitted in the first kilometre, but the ethereal atmosphere of the cave is captured within this area and you will leave with a full sense of the cave’s wonders and its magic.

At about 03.30 pm, we will head back to Hue along Ho Chi Minh Trail, learning of its history during the war and its current use today.
