As you leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind, you'll journey towards a mountainous region dotted with rubber and coffee plantations along the roadside. After a scenic 3.5-hour drive, you'll arrive at the Lava tubes, a former volcanic crater, where the natural beauty will captivate you.

Crossing the Dong Nai River marks your entry into Nam Cat Tien National Park, setting the stage for an unforgettable wildlife experience. Embark on a leisurely afternoon trek through the forest to visit the local bear rehabilitation center. These bears, rescued from illegal traders, are being cared for with the hope of eventually reintroducing them to the wild.

Your accommodation for the night is at Forest Floor Lodge, an eco-resort nestled in the heart of the jungle near the tranquil Ben Cu River. Immerse yourself in nature and enjoy the peaceful surroundings as you unwind after a day of exploration.

Embark on an 8km drive to the jungle, followed by a trek to Crocodile Lake, offering abundant opportunities to observe a diverse array of bird species and, if luck permits, catch a glimpse of the endangered Siamese crocodile. This sanctuary serves as one of the final refuges where these crocodiles can still be found in their natural habitat.

Later in the day, partake in a serene boat journey along the Ben Cu River, providing a chance to witness wildlife thriving along the riverbanks.

As evening descends, indulge in a unique experience with a night drive through the park, utilizing a spotlight to seek out nocturnal creatures. Keep your eyes peeled for deer, civet, guar, mongoose, macaque, snakes, and other small animals that emerge under the cover of darkness. The variety of wildlife you encounter will vary depending on the season and habitat, with the dry season from December to April offering optimal conditions for sightings.

Following your morning meal, you'll embark on a journey to the gibbon sanctuary, where you'll gain insights into the essential rescue and educational efforts undertaken. Subsequently, you'll gather your belongings and commence the journey toward Ho Chi Minh City, marking the end of your tour.
