Cu Chi Tunnels
Your day will commence with a hotel pick-up, and then you'll embark on a journey to Cu Chi, which will take approximately one and a half hours by bus. Upon arrival, an introductory session, including a video, will provide insight into the construction of the tunnels and the challenges faced by the people during the war. Take the time to explore the remaining tunnel systems, including living areas, kitchens, bedrooms, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. Discover hidden trap doors and intricate traps within the maze-like tunnels, strategically designed for security purposes during wartime. Conclude your visit with the serving of special tea and cassava, the guerilla's food during the war.
After a break for relaxation or for those interested in trying real shooting guns, return to Ho Chi Minh City. Explore the former French colonial capital, also known as Saigon, and visit key historical sites such as The Independence Palace, Old Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House, and the renowned Ben Thanh market, where you can browse for souvenirs.
